Without a doubt the ending is a rushed, reworked hack job and I'd love to know why they cut things like that out and left us with what we got.
There better not be DLC on the way with that conversation in it........

I would really love to hear this conversation with fem shep as well. This was beautiful.
Your wish is my command. Even better with femshep.

I just closed my eyes when I listened to it and envisioned...while sobbing like a baby. That scene, followed by fade to black, would have been more than okay as an ending for me. I just can't imagine someone making the decision to remove it.

Okay, I'm confused. Neither of my paragon/renegade options were available to me at the end. I had to renegade prompt myself to shoot TIM. is there a trick to this?
I believe to get those options at the end you had to use paragon/renegade options in all your previous talks with TIM in the game as well.

It would've been great if they hadn't cut this dialogue and right after Anderson died your crew and some Alliance soldiers entered the room to your rescue. The end.

Personally, I'd have preferred it faded to the cutscene of the citadel weapon firing after this conversation then the credits rolling after a text based epilogue.

This audio just makes me burst into tears. I've never been more emotionally invested in a game.

Thank god they took it out. I'm in no way saying that this scene is bad. The scene is fantastic. However, the crappy endings do not go well with this scene and would make a bad ending even worse.

Well, now I am sobbing over the quality of that and my attachment to these characters.

Oh, sigh. I cried when I listened. I'm thankful they took it out since that + the endings offered would have been a bigger knife to the heart. My poor Shep

Damn this is amazing stuff. Hurts my heart just listing to it. Hopefully they'll put it into dlc or something.

I imagine this happened because that was such an amazing conversation. One part I definitely wish was in the game.
