so my question is. What happened with fallout 3? I remembered playing fallout 3 but i dont remember much about the ending nor did i play it much after i finished. However, one of the many ME3 ending complaint threads on theescapist boards there is the mention that the devs went back and added new endgame material to the series to satisfy their fanshttp://www.escapistm...SPOILERS?page=1 . Exactly what happened with fallout 3?
Furthermore, what do you guys think about a straight up do over. While i was playing a few things nipped at my nerves but not enough to spoil an otherwise amazing game, but then the ending took a piece of my soul. Now on my second playthrough those annoyances feel much much bigger. I wouldnt be opposed (and yes i would buy) a ME3 directors cut or "remix" of sorts. It could fix the following things
1- obviously fix the ending. There are a lot of things that need to be done and you cant please everyone but what we have is just aweful
2- Can we get a real tali face/real female krogan model/real female salarian while were at it.
3- There were many opportunities to have your decisions from prior games be much more meaningful. As far as i can tell, a)- the rachni queen situation is the same result either way,
d)- LI conflicts seem excluded to a few lines of dialouge (im not expecting a catfight in teh middle of a war but more could have been done here) and there are plenty of other decisions that dont seem to impact the end result.
4- Go ahead and include from ashes in the full narrative. I bought from Ashes and i feel sorry for those who didnt because his presence added a ton to the story as a whole and its clear that this could/should have been part of the main game. While youre at it include all future DLC that none of us will want to play anyway becuase the game has been ruined with the current ending.
It would be financially plausible becuase the development would already be 80% done and they would still likely release it at full price gaining a considerable profit off of development. At least 60% of us would buy it, and we would be happy becuase we would be getting the game we wanted after we finished mass effect 2.
Id hate to give them ideas on how to further exploit our fandom, but i honestly dont care. Few games have done what ME3 has done and i dont think that companies will ever be able to catch lightining in a bottle like this again.
Edit: while were at it can we do something to take out the tacked on forcing of Multiplayer please?
