 Hi, why we can't choose some of the origin histories/backgrounds in CC? I guess I've tried every combination or Race/class and some we just can't choose..

I haven't had that issue... Dalish Elf, City Elf, Human Noble, Mage, Dwarf Commoner and Dwarf Noble... I'm pretty sure I've made one of each of the 6.

I'm seeing the same thing. Not all combinations of race & class & background are allowed, at least on my CC.

Mages can only be elves and humans, and can only take the magi origin
warrior and rogue elves can only take city elf/dalish elf
warrior and rogue humans can only take human noble
warrior and rogue dwarves can only take dwarf commoner/dwarf noble

if you don't meet the requirements for the origin, it's blocked out.

Oh, that's what you meant.



Some of them don't make any sense beyond certain combos, for lore or logic reasons



Dwarves simply can't magic

*All* magic users have to go through the same stuff as the Mage origin, or be killed

You can't be a human noble if your a Dorf, now can you?

Aaarrr.... There kinda is.... Dalish is the wild type, but still only regulars not nobles. City elves are as common a you get, they live in slums there is no leaders.

my char is a city elve but after seeing a few youtube vids i might just pick human noble for the war like storyline ( elves in this game are treated like oldschool irish for sure lol )
