We know the billions of people on the citadel, including the ones we helped in the hospital, are now slaughtered by the reapers.

We know there is no way wrex is ever getting back to his home world,

We can assume nearly everyone fighting the space battle died since the blast affected the Normandy and caused it to crash.

We can assume there are going to be some cousins making babies in the normandy's crew in a generation or two.

We can assume everyone on the Normandy will never see their families again.

We can assume tali won't get her beach property on the home world.

On the bright side in my play through?

The salarians make out pretty good since they have they didn't commit hardly anything to the cause in my play through.

Has there ever been a game where no one in the galaxy but the jerks, salarians, come out peachy keen?

I'm just going to imagine that the keepers rebuilt the mass relays, after all they've restored and maintain the citadel which is a massive relay compared to the others, and everyone gets to go home in a few years.

Anyone think of any other craptacular scenarios these poor people are dealing with?

I don't care about how grim the ending was. It might have been an alright conclusion to a game about the follies of imbuing machines with intelligence. But that is not what this series was about.
