Hello,

I bought the DVD version of the game. It downloads the DLC I purchased by clicking the buy button in the game but it won't install. I installed the game both in XP and Vista. It did not work. I tried to install the DLC manually by using the content updater, no luck. I used every suggestion found in the section 4 entries of this thread social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/58/index/81613 but again it did not work. I copy the error logs below, somebody help me (it seems the content updater cannot get list details from manifest.xml.

My game version is 1.01b. The downloadable content page in the game indicates that the Stone Prisoner and Warden's Keep require the game version to be 1.0. The required version number is in RED. But my game version is 1.0.1b. Do you think the DAUpdater does not recognize my game version correctly and thus fails the extract Stone Prisoner and Warden's Keep modules?

Note: I purchased the game from Turkey, but there is no Turkish version. I installed the English version of the game, because we use UK version of the in Turkey. Is there a language version problem?
Note: I logged in the game using the account I used to purchase the DLC. I registered the game via social network to the account I purchased the DLC. I would appreciate if anybody could help me.

I have the extact same problem! My Blood armor downloaded fine but the:
Required Game Version: 1.0 shows up.
I have the dec 7th patch and previous ones.
I have tried ea games support but for over a week no response
I brought it over the STREAM online program and they couldn't help me either, they told me to go to ea games support and the ea games support told me to go to here.
PLEASE respond i wanna do the expansions! I brought the collectors edition for the expansions!
Apparently this is a uncommon error....

Okay, try this:

1) Got to Add/Remove Programs and completely remove all dragon age folders from your hard drive, including the "Bioware" folder where your character data is saved. Mine is usually located in "My Documents".

2) Pop the disc in once again and install the game from scratch.
 
3) Login to the social site, got to Games___Dragon Age:Origins___Game Patches. Download the 1.02 patch. Patch the game to 1.02. Note: Please remember to patch before starting the game.

4) Once patched start the game and go to the "Configure" tab in the launcher. Go down to Game in the left hand menu. You should see 4 headings under Version information.
1) DAOrigins.exe
2) DaOriginsLauncher.exe
3) DAOriginsConfig.exe
4) UninstallDragonAge.exe

If you followed my instructions they should be:
1) DAOrigins.exe - v1.02
2) DaOriginsLauncher.exe - v1.01
3) DAOriginsConfig.exe - v1.03
4) UninstallDragonAge.exe - v1.03

If there are different versions than those listed above please post them here.

5) Exit the configuration utility. Click Play tab on launcher.

6) Login to your account, then go to Downloadable Content in the main menu, then click on the download progress tab.

7) Try downloading DLC now.

I believe the problem is happening because of the Dragon Age Version 1.1. If you have a disc copy of the game without any patches it should read Dragon Age Version 1.0. The 1.02 patch should rectify this. Anyways if you can't get it to work please post the 4 versions you have as listed above.

I have the same problem and went through the pain of following your suggestions. No luck. I have the exact versions you mentioned above, but the DLC just won't install and shows a Red 1.0 on my Required game version. Very frustrating

Lol, such a simple but strange fix.

Go to the Configuration Utility, go to Video and check the Disable Intro Videos checkbox.

Start the game and the DLC will install. I have no idea why but it works.

have the same issue. tried with both 1.0 and 1.02 versions. tried jedibokkes's "strange" intro movie suggestion, but no. it simply wont install!

I have had the same experience but may have a solution that may or may not be applicable to you.

I found out that my firewall (Kaspersky) is causing this "You have timed out while attempting to access your online profile storage" and 100% download freeze stuff. 

What I would do is quit DA, stop the firewall and then reload DA and finally check on the status of th DLC.

If your Windows Region and Language settings are not set to English(United States), it could cause problems with the XML parser.  (Depends on how different number and date formats are from the USA format.)

Surprisingly, this partially worked for me.  I had been having trouble with the game, so I foolishly reinstalled, which started off the problem mentioned in this thread.  I tried a whole bunch of stuff from the other DLC page, but nothing worked.  Upon reading this, I tried it out and the Return to Ostagar DLC downloaded properly as soon as I logged back in.  Still having some troubles with the Wardens Keep and Stone Prisoner, but RtO had been giving me the most trouble up until now, so that's a load off...

change all of your settings to en us. after that copy your dazip files into

my documents> bioware>dragon age > add Ins



after that use daupdater program select it and install it bing bang boom its done heyooooo:)

Ok I have the same Issue, and when I get the DAUpdater tool working, and go to my Add Ins folder, I have no DAZip files available, even though all hav ebeen failed installs in game. Please help.

Also, try running the game in administrator mode to see if it helps.

I was having the same problem with windows 7 64bit. I started DA as administator went into the configure tab then under the repair section I clicked on Add firewall exception and clear download cache. I exited this and when asked for save I did, started game and DA and Stone prisoner installed fine. Hope this helps.

Okay, now I've found the .dazip but the installation still doesn't work. That's what the log says:
