He speaks as though Shepard is a legend that no one knows what really happened - yet presumably we have Asari on Earth and in Sol inlcuding many who met shepard who live to be over 1000 years old so wouldn't they be able to fill in details...

Makes it sound like all technology was destroyed as well.

That wasn't Earth, and there is no galactic space travel (we assume the latter given the context of what is said).

It's implied that they've lost the ability to travel between systems, so they probably haven't encountered any asari.

So what, Liara's dead too?
Sure, why not. Depress me more.

The stargazer inhabits *this* universe.

He made up the ME universe too.

Either dead or just hanging out with EDI. Maybe with a new "friend" in the Prothean if he lives that long and decided not to kill himself.

The planet the Stargazer is on has two moons. Or the Stargazer's world is 2nd moon of the planet it's orbiting.

Normandy crash lands on a planet with two moons. Obviously the crew of Normandy got busy and populated the planet, and passed on tales of "the Shepard". Over generations, it has become more of a fairytale/legend, hence "the Shepard"-title.

If you go with the Destroy ending, the star-kid warns you that you'll destroy most of technology as well.  How that works, who knows?  Space Magic is my guess.

There are Asari ON Earth and in the Atmosphere - so if Earth is rebuilding then Asari would be helping - They are not synthetic nor are their Biotics - and if the stargazer is not ion Earth how did they get there without FTL - also Spaceships can still travel just not use FTL so we would have plenty of ships having to land on Earth eventually...

Again There would be an Asari on it who can repopulate and be alive herself - not to mention control ending where edi is still alive

The problem is that the Stargazer isn't on Earth. Note the two satellites in the background, relative the the Earth's one.

The Stargazer video has two characters shown. Nothing says that there can't be Asari there as well. It's not like it's a shot of their lil' village where they all live, showing all the residents.

But they only made the one ending, and it's quite possible for both EDI and Liara to be dead at that point.

It's not flawed, it's BS... sorry, but showing a random picture of a winter space forest with a large and a small adult humanoid, narrated by Buzz Aldrin, is nothing... a simple THE END would have had more impact.

The genetic inbreeding would be atrocious if this were the case. Studies have been done on how many people would be needed at a minimum to succesfull, genetically, reboot a people and the crew of the Normandy is very, very, very short of that figure.

That is assuming Liara didn't have babies. Liara was only, what, 114 years old, and Asari live for a millenia.

True. But the planet where Normandy crashes has vegatation on it. Maybe it had a colony on it already?

Either way, the ending leaves a lot of holes.

No in my playthrough she stepped out of the Normandy after the crashlanding togther with EDI and Joker. Can't say who else, but anyway, kind of funny because Liara and EDI were with me on the last run to the light beam.

But 1) Asari breed differently 2) unless stargzer is thiousand of years in the future wouldn't Liara be alive herself...and again under certain Circumstances Edi too...

Well the synthesis ending is a happy ending for joker. Because cyborg Joker is completely healthy and his girl is now half organic. But that's the really only good thing I could pull from it.

The thing that bothers the **** out of me is that If they managed to get ****ing BUZZ ALDRIN why couldn't he play a different character that had more than 2 lines or possibly a new squad member?

Joker wouldn't talk about Shepard as "The Shepard".

Asari can reproduce with any sentient species, and the resulting baby is always an Asari. How many times did Liara and Shepard talk about their blue little babies? (if Liara was LI ofc)

Anyone listening to what I sayed (reading what I wrote)?

It is not Joker, nor Liara, nor anyone/anything that has directly to do with the story... it is just a random scene.
