Or at least that is is confirmation that everything after Harbinger blasts you is a dream/hallucination?

What if Shepard was just knocked out cold from Harbinger's laser and dreamed the rest? The following things make me believe this:
- All the various signs indicating it was a dream (unlimited ammo, loads of bodies in a place that wasn't even inhabited by people, TIM being Saren V2, the 'God kid', etc.).
- The fact Shepard is shown waking up in some sort of rubble, alive. I believe this is back on Earth as he wakes up from being KO'd by Harbinger. It can't have been otherwise seeing as the Citadel blows up and he can't survive in space like that.

Plus, the wreckage in the Shepard Lives ending is very obviously not the Citadel, it looks nothing like the Citadel. The lighting and type of rubble around him all look like London.
In all honesty, I didn't even thing that the ending(s) were bad. They were pretty awesome, actually. If they were in a different franchise, that is. The fact that they robbed us of the catharsis the entire franchise was building up to is the bad part.

The endings, as is, completely stomped all over my Mass Effect experience. I've never played a game that was so good, only to have the end fail so miserably.

Anyone else think that the little scene skimming through debris to be given a shot of (assumed) Shepard taking a breathe is an allusion to a new ending?

The idea that the ending was hallucination of Reaper Indoctrination is strange. At best, they'll patch in more choices to the currently existing framework or make an DLC/Expansion that lets you begin the process of rebuilding galactic civilization.
Personally I would prefer some combination of the two; the current ending suffers most strongly from the lack of a 4th option where you turn your back on the Star Child and take your chances with the Reapers. The number of fleets gathered and the EMS score should determine if the fleet wins and if Shepard lives.
I think it is acceptable for the Star Child and/or Shepard to destroy the the Mass Relays, even in the 4th ending, as long as they create a game/DLC/Expansion that focuses on rebuilding. But Shepard's story needs an option to turn your back on the Child both for its own sake and to make the decision to go along with his plan matter. Cooperating with the Star Child for the greater good of the galaxy doesn't mean anything if you *HAVE* to do it.

Yup, the hallucination thread, among others, has touted this theory. It would be nice. The endings, as is, completely stomped all over my Mass Effect experience. I've never played a game that was so good, only to have the end fail so miserably.
I agree with all of this.

I don't think it was Reaper indoctrination. Maybe others do, I do not. What I saw was Shepard almost being killed by Harbinger, having a hallucination that reflected his current mental state (the kid being present, the gravity of the decisions, and the structure being physically similar to the dialogue wheel on which he made so many), and waking up in London's rubble.Aedan276 wrote...

What he said I think the hallucination at best would fit in after Shepard collapses trying to turn on The Crucible, if not then everything with Anderson and TIM wasnt real. And I doubt that was the case, especially since I have no problem with that part.

If you can get 100% Galaxy at war and over 5,000 assets (I had 6,500). It's not easy but it's possible.Jaysh wrote...
I did everything right in all 3 games and I still didn't get the ending where Shepard is breathing.
