 I don't know how many people purchased the collectors edition of mass effect 3 so I don't know how many people may have caught this.  But 2 minutes ago I was reading through my art book that came with it because I can't bring myself to pick up the game again and I noticed to pieces of information within it that may point to something more in the future.

1.  It says that orginally TIM was supposed to be completely turned into a reaper and that was going to be the final battle on the citadel.  But that idea was scratched because "we wanted to give the players the satisfaction of fighting a character they know rather than a random creature."  

This says that there is or was supposed to be a final battle or boss fight if you will. Besides Kai Leng I don't remember there being any real boss or final fight so this could hint at something in the futrue coming out as a last battle.  Fighting Harbinger perhaps?

2.  The crucible page describes the weapon is "meant to evoke an enormous, rocket propelled bomb: something like a cross between a trinity bomb and a NASA space probe."  

This tells me that whatever we saw happen with the cruicible isn't what it was originally planned to do.  Now maybe the idea was changed or maybe this could hint at what we saw was really a dream/hallucination/indoctrunation... IDK just a couple things I picked up on while looking through my art book

Some can and for good reason call this grasping at straws... but me?  I call it hope,  the icon for the entire Mass Effect Series!!!
