I've been rolling over stuff on Nightmare but I finally encountered something I'm having trouble with. Unfortunately it has nothing to do with my party, just Jowan's sucky build.
Anyone have any tips for beating the desire demon with Jowan in the Fade on nightmare? She tends to put up spell shield or something which makes it difficult to hit her offensively and Jowan has no healing spells, only Death Magic. Which doesn't do any good in the Fade.

Hah, never mind, I won it on the very next battle. Key was not to use Drain Life constantly while the demon was paralyzed or frozen. If those spells fail, run away until they regen because a stand up fight is NO GOOD.

That and you really need to pick the right one when she does her doppleganger healing thing. There's two times she does it.
On nightmare Jowans paralyse hit about 60% of the time, and I just used every spll in his arsenal at that point, then ran to a lyrium pointto regen some mp before trying to drop the next paralyse.
