You run Overload at 5.  That alone makes this the worst engi build I've ever seen.  You even found a way to make it worse by throwing the locust on there.

i run overload at 4.

AND i dont care what you say...im not seeking your approval.

I like my build. i will run it however i choose...and i do well with it. I even do well with it on Platinum.

No, you play silver at best with that build and get maybe third.  If you somehow weren't booted out of Plat you got carried.  Overload at 4?  Your not touching plat with that nonsense build.

I prefer the 3-jump evolution personally, but you can't go wrong either way on Overload rank 6.  In most cases you won't get a huge benfit from the shield barrier bonus vs the extra jump and 15% in match. 

I guess I prefer the exta crowd control and let my tech bursts off the disrupter ammo make up the lost damage vs shields on the jump evoltion.

I've actually been running this class a LOT lately.

5/6/6/6/3

Drone: Explosion/Stun shock
Incinerate: Radius/Burning/Armor Damage
Overload: Chain/Neural Shock/Barrier and Shield Damage
Alliance Training: Damage & Capacity/Headshot Modifer/Weapon Damage

Weapon: Viper X w/ EB and Piercing Mod
Disruptor Ammo II or higher, applies the effect most every shot.
Operative Package
Sniper Amp

Enough weapon damage to pop heads or drop shields in one headshot on mooks, but enough power damage to strip shields in one cast on all but phantoms. This build actually puts out a surprising amount of hurt, and is quite fun.

Ah yes, neural shock. Instead of making targets stand in place, begging for a headshot, lets make them fall to the ground and harder to hit instead!

I remember when the game first launched and everyone though neural shock was the best way to go.
