After choosing the so called renegade ending and Shephard lives. Why is he surrounded by chunks of concrete, along with girders and beams, wouldn't he have burned up(again) in the re-entry into earths atmosphere especially since his armour is burned/scarred and destroyed already, along with exposed limbs, and no helmet.. Even if he did survive the re-entry shouldn't he be surrounded by pieces from the citadel, rather then some rubble from a city?

So, this conclusion gives me the idea that after Harbinger landed and shot his laser, your Shephard had just imagined the whole scenario.

A persons life flashes before their eyes before death and they see what they want to see. By imagining that he sees the kid as the catalyst on the citadel it gives Shephard closure, along with his choice in things. But Shephards view of choices could have been slightly skewed as the reapers all around him he could have been slightly going through the process of indoctrination.

So called renegade ending: Blow up the reapers meaning that you want to wake up and keep fighting, keep living, but the reaper choice of causing genocide upon all synthetics is there to scare you and make you want a more peaceful solution.

So called paragon ending: Control the reapers, accept their control over you and serve as their slave while your mind is lost completely as they take over. You're dead but they have "assuming direct control"  over you.

So called neutral ending: Synthesis, combine both organics and synthetics to create new DNA, the final closure to Shephard before death overtakes him. He dies happy and knowing he achieved a great goal, and the reapers dont' get control of him.

That's what a lot of us are thinking, actually. With any luck, Bioware will take the hint. Even if it wasn't their intention, I'm willing to let them use it as an escape route without any hard feelings, as long as they get rid of godboy.

If it was their intention, they should have just put up a huge "YOU MAD BRO?" at the ending cut scene, along with a troll face.

That was a joke.

It was a pretty big troll on their part though, so many people just started raging.
