So, a couple questions in regards to the Citadel. First off, though I think I have the answers due to logic, did everyone on the Citadel die? Bailey and the Council and everyone? If so, that's sad. I liked Bailey a lot. I wished he had his chance to see him family.

Secondly, the Keepers. We were always told we were going to find out about them. In 2 we find out that "Chorban has discovered that the keepers are engineered and are designed
to react to something like a signal which occurs every 50,000 years or
so. In a message to Shepard, he states his theory that "they were
engineered millions of years ago... by the same people who made
Sovereign!" "

So they were created to . . . harvest?

Another reason I hate the ending. None of that's elaborated on. In fact how did the Citadel get to Sol? If it was an override then that's bull. If they attacked it what happened to it's population.

I feel like the Citadel started to strain under the weight of so many McGuffins.

It is the center of galactic project.

SURPRISE! It's also a giant Mass Relay.

SURPRISE! It's also the catalyst.

SURPRISE! It's also the being to created the reapers... or is in control of the reapers... or who... Hell, I dunno.

There's really no need to be rude. Not every player sees things the same way, I'm not demanding anything, just asking for elaboration. It's always been alluded to that the Keeprs had another purpose, not just to take care of the Citadel.

"The remaining Protheans used the Conduit to reach the Citadel, and interfered with the signal to the keepers that allows the Citadel to become a mass relay. However, he is uncertain as to what happened to them, as the Conduit was one way."
The purpose of the keepers is to transmit the signal that allows the reapers to return through the mass relay, other than that it is assumed they perform maintenance on the Citadel.
They are likely completely uncapable of independent thought and have long since been programmed for their purpose.
