Yeah, I've been trying to time it so that I reload right before marksman ends so I can get a full clip of it during the power cooldown. 

I've been trying fully leveled mines, and frankly I think they're pretty awesome. Here's a tip though: don't use them as mines. Use them as rockets, ie just point right at something and blast it with a mine. 680 damage to everything in a 3m radius + 20% more damage taken to all those things for 10 seconds is quite nice team support. 

I also did a game with a Hornet. That thing has crazy crazy good DPS, but you can't really get the fire rate bonus of markman due to the burst fire, or at least it seems that way (doesn't feel like im shooting noticeable faster).

I disagree, if you are a "good" you can be a great asset to your team.  My whole team dropped and i finished wave 6 by myself as a Turian Solider.  You just need to know the map and the enemy behaviors.

Turian Veteran: Damage & Stability (4), Power Damage (5), Damage & Stability (6)
Fitness: Durability (4), Shield Recharge (5), Fitness Expert (6)

Weapon: Revenant

Basics: Have a full clip, enter marksman, aim for head, unload clip, rinse, and repeat.


It is always fun when other players are like wow that gun is shooting fast as heck.

Talking about Turians soldier, i have Widow X and have noticed that he's hell of a lot more accurate with it than the other races and don't know if it's true and would appreciate if anyone knew the answer but if feels a lot better to snipe with him.

Taht is because, turians have pasive accuracy boost in the race skill. And marksman enhance the acuracy even further.

Yeah, it's pretty weak. Marksman is basically an Adrenaline Rush that consumes your ammo faster (although I imagine it could be useful with guns like the Revenant), proximity mine is still underpowered (needs to actually be useful as a mine) and concussive shot is spammable but ends up being your only real useful skill; you're better off as any class with throw, because at least you have other useful abilities.

Take an assault rifle. Use Marksman when you need it (banshees, for example). Spam direct fire proximity mines the rest of the time (tip: aim 5° to the right of what you're trying to hit). Proceed to win. Proximity mine is stupidly good, even on Gold, it rips any kind of group or armor defenses to shreds, and stuns and weakens everything in the process. And for those complaining about it not working as a mine, I aim at the
feet of the enemies, about one meter forward, it detonates every time. Plus you have Turian stability, and 2000 health+shields. Basically, if you can't make it work on Gold, either you suck, your aim sucks, or a combination of the two.

Yeah the developers didn't show any love at all when they were balancing the turians. They do truly feel like ****. Batarians and Krogans have more health then them, have better abilities and excel so much more in their respective roles.

If the Turian sentinel would've been able to set of Tech Bursts or Biotic Explosions, I think it would've been a much more viable class. As for the Turian soldier... Well, I'd rather play as a drell vanguard then him. Alright, I wouldn't go that far!

I use Turians a lot because they're my favorite race. But damn, I wouldn't mind a major buff to them. More weapon damage. More stable weapon handling, eliminating the need for the handling mod. Just something damnit that makes them unique and really a force to be reckoned with in any area.

And if you can't use a Turian it's not because the class is bad it's because you don't know how to use him.

They're perfectly viable on Gold.

On Gold.

Turian Soldiers get two of the best powers in the game: MM and PM.
CS is a great power i youf know how to use it.

Turian Senitnels are set-up artists and can deal damage efficiently with their weapons in tandem with two of the best set-up/protection debuffs around.

I tried the Turian Soldier once on Silver, and I got the sh** kicked out of me. He's like a tank with no armor. Big and slow, and can't take much punishement, at all.

The Turian Sentinal is another story thanks to Tech armor, and with both Overload and Warp, you can cut through the opposition with ease.

ive not seen a turia n soldier on gold since i used one a month ago. also if you do +50% dmg isnt that the same thing as shooting 50 percent more bullets? (dont remember marksman stats) marksman is stupid. i would be better off spamming my proxy which is what i did since this was my first class in mp

Those who say the Turian Soldier is crap are those who haven't unlocked the Hurricane or haven't learned the use of the Proximity Mine or both.

Yeah the hornet is freaking awesome on a turian solider. Hardly any recoil on it, so you can rack up the headshots.
