Marksman's fire rate bonus will continue after the cooldown, as long as you've held down the trigger. It's accuracy and recoil bonuses do not.
I did this with my tempest (extended mags + heat sinks). Turned on marskman, waited for a bit, then held down the trigger. Once marksman runs out (colours return to normal), there is a sudden and noticeable increase in spread and recoil.
Also, marksman tempest + cryo rounds = funny(Ice beam? Cryo beam?)
Yeah, I've been trying to time it so that I reload right before marksman ends so I can get a full clip of it during the power cooldown.
I've been trying fully leveled mines, and frankly I think they're pretty awesome. Here's a tip though: don't use them as mines. Use them as rockets, ie just point right at something and blast it with a mine. 680 damage to everything in a 3m radius + 20% more damage taken to all those things for 10 seconds is quite nice team support.
I also did a game with a Hornet. That thing has crazy crazy good DPS, but you can't really get the fire rate bonus of markman due to the burst fire, or at least it seems that way (doesn't feel like im shooting noticeable faster).
