I bought ME1 from STEAM and I have actually been waiting on the ME2 Ulitmate edition so I can play the whole game (all DLC's) and carry that save over for ME3.

However, now that I know that nothing matters in ME3 and I'd just be playing for the fun of collecting assets that make no real difference anyway in the end, I am reconsidering purchasing anything more at all.

So am I going to re-do ME2?  I will get it and play it through, but for the sake of my own sanity I may just stop there and pretend that's the end.

No the endings are crap writing anyways....i won't play ME again and will not buy any single future DLC until they fix the endings.

Shepards 10, 11, and 12 will be made after I finish all 9 Shepards, all 13 Wardens and all 13 Hawkes. I'm planning to use all the data I gather from the other 9 Shepards to make a best ems fille and a worst ems file. Not sure what basis the 12th one will have. I just like to keep the hybridizations of Shepard's backgrounds equal.

I plan on doing another run through ME2 as soon as I am finished with my first run of ME3. Regardless of how ME3 ends, I still thoroughly enjoy playing Mass Effect series 98% of the time, there is really no other game out there that can hold my attention for long periods of time.

My previous FemShep's have all been super-paragon. The next one will be a little more paragade, and the first one to romance Garrus. Looking forward to that PT already =)

Beyond wanting to replay the first two games, I don't see why anyone would bother if there are save editors available that can change in three minutes what would take thirty hours otherwise.

Unfortunately i didn't find a save that had the specific requisites...since they are a mixture of Paragon and Renegade choices. Haven't find a good save file

Nope, me3 ending made me depressed and it just ruined the IP for me.

I hope they fix the ending- it makes no sense.

Those who have not finished it ..... You will know what talking about when you get to the ending.

(NO SPOILER) Mass effect endings- in an ideal world would be;

5 mins (at least) of cinematic glory, ending in a positive note for most of the species in the galaxy (except the batarians, just dont like them).

I have an inkling after reading most of the above, this is not to be. I guess I'll find out, but at least my expectations have been lowered dramatically.

I think the ending is perfect... the Mass Effect story isn't a fairy tale.  Considering the events leading up to the end of ME3, a perfect fairy tale ending just isn't believable or realistic, no matter how much we'd like to see it...  the ending is very much in line with the story, and I'm so glad they didn't "sacrifice" the ending to please us with "happliy ever after".  Just my opinion.  On my way to play through again with another class (perhaps Vanguard?), knowing full well the consequences of my actions...

Yeah, I'm actually starting new ME1 characters next week. The good thing is that I can complete almost every sidequest before I get into the main story and have all 4 characters share a common base. It speeds the whole process up immensely. In fact, after all the sidequests are done, you can power through the rest of the game in under 15 hours.

No, I'm going to wait and see of they fix that thing that a lot of people are complaining about. I'm going to finish AC:Revelations and Uncharted 3 in the meantime. Maybe more Skyrim, too. My ME mood has been ruined for the moment.

I created 6 different 'Sheps', 3 male / 3 female using different classes and background, each mixing up the decisions made. I did this after I reached level 60 with my original Shepard way back when on ME1

I thought this was the norm for 'fans' :/

I wanted to do that, after I finished my cannon playthrough.
Not doing that now, knowing I will always have only three choices no matter what I did before.
