Why does the game has the check the DLC TWICE everytimes I go to the main menu, even if I just quit playing multiplayer to go play single player. Don't you guys at least trust me enough to not put in illegal DLC (Is that even possible?) WHILE I'm playing?

Seriously this is getting annoyinly rediculous.

Yeah, I can't start the game disconnected from the network because it has to check the dlc, hey I paid it!

I don't have any DLC and it still has to check it every flipping time I go near the main menu! What the hell is it checking? There's nothing there to check.

WHAT DLC? I have no DLC to check! How can Bioware be checking that the DLC I didn't get has been 'not' got legitimately? It makes no sense. Think it through Gnaeus. See what I mean? It's just not logical.

Well, firstly, a lot of people do have the DLC.

Secondly, I'm pretty sure that reply wasn't for you only.

And lastly, that was a sarcastic reply, which means it's not to be taken seriously.

But yeah, it's pretty absurd that Origin checks every single time you get to the main menu. Like everything else wasn't taking long enough already...

The second game had a solution to fix this which has been stripped from the third game with a deleted internet connection option to not check in each and every time. This needs patching just to reroute this exercise through Origins- and a standard once over check by the game itself, and then if they need to- through Origins whenever an online connection is available. See- everybody wins.

There's a new patch, I think it may have fixed the problem.

nope still checks it twice. It should only check once the FIRST time you start the game, not EVERY SINGLE TIME you do something. We should be able to turn that off like auto updates. Some of us don't want DLC anymore anyway until we hear that the ending has been fixed.

EDIT
nevermind. I just logged out of Origin. Too many bugs and my interest has fallen flat with the spin they are giving us about the poor endings and lack of resolution for missing credits in the MP for failed purchases. I can't see buying another EA title if this is they way they work. I might play ME1 or 2 but that will be without Origin and in offline mode.
