As you have already know, everyone is upset with the... undesirable endings. I've heard on other threads that BioWare was going to do a different ending prior to these three "choices" and by looking at the description in the ME3 art book, the crucible was, and may I quote, "The Crucible is meant to evoke an enormous, rocket-propelled bomb: something like a cross between the Trinity bomb and a NASA space probe". Found of page 70. I've heard and read that EA had more of a hand in this game than ME2, which would also explain the day-one DLC. So, who is really to be blamed, BioWare, or EA? Thoughts anyone?

Sooo, EA came in and wrote the ending? Why would that have happened? I don't think EA said "lol guiz, make a bad ending, it'd be hilarious. lol"

I doubt EA had anything to do with the ending.

If you have anyone to blame it's the team of writers who created the ending, then, the producers(Mike Gamble and Casey Hudson) who approved of the ending.

Then, I guess you could call out both Bioware "CEO" who probably didn't play through the game and didn't actually play through the ending.

About all EA does is decide funding and release dates. Bioware has told us time and again that EA doesn't tell them what to do, so based on that, the endings fall on Bioware. It's just hard to believe that the same people that gave us so much that was amazing could give us a few minutes that were so monumentally bad that is taints the series.

It won't stop me from ever playing again, but knowing how things turned out will always haunt me when I play.

Both are at fault, But Bioware is more at fault for signing off on the present ending of ME3.

if you want your voice heard louder got to my blog which I have a link too in my Sig , click on my ME3 review and click on the links to my polls.

1. would you Boycott Bioware if they don't fix the endings
2. do you believe Multiplayer should have no impact on the single player campaign
3. Facebook Campaign demand better endings for ME3

While EA may be the one funding the development of the game, Bioware is the one who creates it and thus dictates what should be in the game or not.

If EA threatened to cut their funding and kick Bioware out because they wanted to use a better ending then we got, then it'd be EA's fault but frankly that's too farfetched.

Well Let's look at the Fact.s

Fact Bioware Listens to thier community and knows hwo much they like/love thier characters. in thier games.

FAct: EA coudl give three rats butt about the players and only cares about the quarterly proffit.

Fact. Bioware helps its playerbase, even Those on console AND pc versions of thier product

Fact: EA does nto give two craps about thier PC gaming players or custormers and even the COnsole ones are barely on thier radar.

So in my opinion.....Bioware Being sadly under EA is NOT respinsible for this. EA and thier focus on money and disregaurd for the gamers playing thier games IS at fault.

It was Mac Walters's fault. He wrote it.

EA is not responsible for the ending. Bioware is. However, EA is easily responsible for the Day One DLC and Jessica Waste-Of-Space Chobot.

Bioware's. They tried at all cost to write an unexpected ending. Well ... it worked in this regard. Nobody expected THIS.

I did. So you can all blame me for the Destroy, Control and Merge ending. I am however not related with the fate of the Normandy... Oh wait I had also said we would loose them. Okay just blame everything on me

1)  Ok, love the Peacekeeper avatar.

Ok, I'd say EA contributed with a "Make something that will require people to buy DLC's" and/or a "We don't care, hammer something together you can get out the door in time, who cares if it's like the ending to Enterprise or The Sopranos.  Don't think they made it happen, but they certainly made it the most likely sort of outcome.
