I'm up to speaking with Cortez at Purgatory after the Citadel battle with Cerberus. I didn't romance anybody in previous Mass Effect games since Ashley went nuclear. It's giving me the option of.

"I'm waiting for the right man"

Or.

"I'm waiting for the right woman"

Lacking a middle ground I'm forced to pick one of the two. I am just curious if my choice will 'lock' me into only same-sex romances with characters from here on out (EG: They never push the romance topic). Will it do this? Or can Shepard say one or the other but still boink the other sex if he so chooses.

Incidently, is Kelly a romance option? I got her to change her identity so she survived the Citadel battle. Just wondering.
