I'm not really going to say much about this because I think it could get a little bit heated, but I like the inclusion of the phrase "vocal minority", the sentiment of "it's just a game so why are you getting so upset" at the end, and basically the entire vibe of "Hi guys, I'm missing the point".

EDIT: In response to a later commenter suggesting I not link directly to the article, I have instead linked to a screen capture of the article in question. The article in question can of course still be found here, if for some reason you'd like to go there.

It's pretty ridiculous to say, "It's just a game," when the whole ME marketing theme was, "This is the game experience of a lifetime."

This is also great: http://www.forbes.co...lready-on-disc/

Kotaku is a last place a gamer should go for insightful news or opinions.

Kotaku means nothing. They are a low end video game site that no one cares about. Hell the gaming world doesn't even care about them.

Something tells me this individual hasn't had time to finish the game.

"Play religiously"? Uh I haven't played Mass Effect since exiting the game after the ending. I'm not sure I'll ever play it again.

Far as Owen Good goes, I'm not sure hes really in touch with how bad the endings are.

For a video game website Kotaku sure does sneer down at taking video games seriously a lot.

I'm surprised this "movement" is even getting bumped to Forbes and Kotaku. That alone is an achievement.

Kotaku has lost so many readers. Even penny arcade used to like them but now they don't go there anymore for any sort of news. They write articles to ****** people off just so more people will comment and look at it and talk about them.

Their quality of writing is terrible, just a few weeks ago some guy wrote about how he had sex on a mega man bed. It had not integrity at all.

after what the caveman from destructoid said, i'm not surprised. i expect no support from reviewers (which also makes it a pleasant surprise in the even that it is given)

The order of attention:

1) Good attention

2) Bad attention

3) No attention

At least we got something from that ****.

Kotaku are an incompetent bunch of fools, thinking their opinions matter more than facts that invalidate said opinions instantly. They have their noses in the sky, and they're a very unprofessional site overall (remember that Arkham City cover, anyone?). So yeah, I'll take their opinion seriously when the sun rises from the west.
