So a bunch of nobody sites join this "Campaign" and you think it means anything?

People read those sites and word spreads.

And in the end nothing will change I genuinely hope Bioware never changes the ending and sticks to their guns....1 it would show me they have balls and 2 it would continue to give me something to laugh about when I read BSN every morning.

This. It's not that none of us are familiar with tragic endings or that we only like happy endings. It's that we've put so much into an ending that simply does not feel worth it. It's the first time that I don't replay a perfectly replayable game for the simple fact that the ending has drained ALL enthusiasm.

Go put some artsy darkness into some 2 hour flick or some other game, not a trilogy that was supposed to be all about our choices, not a universe I with so much potential. It's like they threw away their own future. =/

As far as I'm concerned, Shepard died right alongside Anderson, survived by Jack. That's my ending for now. Smh.

Things have already changed. Lots of 1's cropping up purely because of the endings on various shopping sites. Still as long as you are amused not like it matters right Image IPB

@VolusvsReaper: We are trying to be serious here, so stop trolling this campaign thread please. And changing nothing doesnt mean that they have balls. It may mean that the are just stubborn or dont care about their fans. And now leave please, this is no place for trolls.

You guys do realize that me3 already sold over 4 million copies ?

Now 15,000 people ask for a different ending, and you expect bioware to comply? Please .. I think you must be joking.

Bioware: Sir these websites didn't like the ending to our game they are joining the fight to get it changed!
Bioware: Who?
Bioware: Yea I said the same thing too.
EA: Ahh we have dismissed these claims
Bioware: HAHAHA okay!

-Im sure you percieve that to be intensely amusing. Which would likely explain why you are satisfied with the endings as well as the massive plotholes and lazy writing they employ.

But reality would look more like this:

Bioware community mod
: Boss, the part of the fanbase that didnt like the endings have joined forces with people who didnt like the writing, who has an axe to grind after DA2 and general disdain toward both EA/Bioware. They dominate the social site and have started recruiting from Reddit, /b/, /v/ and whoever else will listen. They are gaining momentum and attention from a wider selection of the media. They have employed twitter and facebook to reach a wider audience and are organizing.
Bioware Exec: How do we stifle this before it grows bigger? Get me the EA overlords so I can inform them, and get the PR guys up here.
EA Exec: Deal with this and fast. We do not need more bad pres than we allready have. We have PR guys who have experience with this, who we can put at your disposal.
PR guys: We do not need this ontop of the last novel and DA2. If it continues it can burn out the good PR we got from release. Brainstorm and doughnuts in the meetingroom now.

The community hub is talking about the bad ending, you think these sentiments will not be reflected in the 4 million?

Life's about the journey, not the end folks. Grow up. I hated the end of the Dark Tower, but the last two pages of that 7 book series doesn't negate all of the awesome in the last 6,000 pages. And I didn't write Stephen King letters and start petitions demanding that he change it. That journey will stay with me forever, just like Shepards. How did you expect it to end, the Normandy goes into a slow-mo action shot blowing up the last reaper and Shepard and [insert romantic interest] settle down and have babies? No matter how they ended it, it would be disappointing. It's the end of an amazing story.

That said, I liked the ending. Granted, there are 17 different ones, but I liked it. It was something I didn't see coming, but at the end of the day it's Bioware's story and world that you have been invited to and if you don't like what you see ****ING LEAVE.

Sometimes bloggers are worse than fox news about the idiotic things they choose to go up in arms about. The worlds falling apart around you and you devote this much time and energy to this because the ending of a VIDEO GAME didn't satisfy your expectations. Bunch of babies, I swear.

I'm all for starting the campaign of 'galactic readiness' to change these horrible game endings. We can unite the forces of the galaxy against game endings like this - non-inventive, non-inspired, and a direct ripoff of the Matrix series.

I figured that ME2 was so bad that nothing could be a worse ending - I was so wrong.

@Maggot Yeah. I mean the only thing worse would be putting time and effort into fighting against the gamers, eh?

ie. Leave.

I don't see why this matter when you can't get the best ending without playing MP anyway.

The ending did suck though.

I could live with the 3 presented options, but they just wernt fleshed out at all, and the normandy part didnt even make any sense. I'd go into detail but spoilers obviously ¬_¬

Oh don't fall into general lines like that.  I played the game and feel quite content with the endings.

I don't hate the ending but seriously, it does kind of fall apart at the edges. Fine, choices to control, merge or destroy is fine. Too many people think all tech is being desroyed but afaik it references only mass effect technology. Computers and electricity aren't destroyed, and what's to say that there aren't other ways to travel FTL?

What bugs me is what happens to the Normany, your crew and to shepard. Actually, and the catalyst. I don't get the point that the entire time the reapers themselves are being controlled.

I've only managed to complete ME3 once, and with the green flavoured ending. Needless to say, I felt cheated. I'm going to complete the other two, but damn right if we should get an epilogue DLC. I'm willing to fork over my cash for something like that, no doubt.

I think, to make things fair, there could be one for those who chose blue; how the galaxy plays out because of that. Same for those who chose red, and those who chose green. It doesn't have to be just for us who are dissapointed by what we got. I want to see that Shepard's choices mattered, because right now I feel like everything I did up to that point was all in vain.

Threre is no best ending. And you do not need MP to get all the possible outcomes.

In my eyes, the game left some small and minor things unresolved before the ending... Noveria being part of it, along with Shiala and Feros...

but when it came to the ending... I mostly felt like everything I had done was pointless and nothing was resolved. In all honesty, I would have presented the game much differently then how it was... to say the least, I was severely let down with the game as a whole... I may only play it once more, if I can pull myself up to it....

I would definitely buy a new DLC pack or even a new game to resolve this issue... but that's is probably just me.

Pretty much confirmed at this point, that getting 5000 in EMS is impossible without MP.

It's not just the ending that get's under my skin, there are many bugs, and what I hate more then the ending is to see that that idiot Udina is on the council while I have put Anderson on it in ME1, WTF is that Bioware?! Why let us make a choice and later smack that choice in our face and laugh with it? What was the point to let us make choices in ME1 AND ME2 if in the end those choices are not reflected in the end of the trilogy! And in Gods name what was that with that woman Christina Norman (ex Bioware) is she the greatest idiot on the planet or what? That she had the nerve to say that we the players are not producers and in fact telling us to shut up, is just to stupid for words. If I was her Boss I would kick her like Kungfu panda and make her into a mindless husk. So what we are not producers!? We are the people that buy your games, without the money from us you would not even have a job in the gaming industry you mindless baboon!!! Could you insult your customers even more? A game developer must ALWAYS listen to her community even if that community is angry like hell and is about to go into nuke mode to bom the sh*t out of the developer, what is Bioware doing? Locking almost every topic that is to hot for them, what's next Bioware? Are you gonna act like that baboon Christina Norman and tell us to STFU?

If I had over 20000 people telling me my product sucks, I would not lie like Bioware was doing with the first day DLC, and make damn sure that I fix the problem. If I had a company I don't wanna lose 20000 people! If Bioware is willing to let 20000 players down then I hope she will fall flat on her face in the next 5 years and go bankrupt! If you make promises then make sure to live up to them and don't make crap games that don't even come close to the PR stunts and what you told us that would be in the game! I loved your games Bioware, Hell I even get that ripoff firstday DLC for ME3 and was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. But when I see that even the basic stuff that you promised is not uphold in the game, then you are messing with your fans, fans that are in the end your customers. Your hotshot Casey Hudson told us that our choices made in ME1 and ME2 would reflect in ME3, but after the first 5 minutes I see that it was a cold lie, Anderson was an admiral while in ME1 and ME2 he was on the council. Don't turn your back on us, because if you do that, then you don't deserve to be a game developer and are just like EA, a bunch of mindless husk trying to rip off every loyale fan. Take a lesson from CD projekt at least they know how to interact with their community and fans. Now if you don't mind I will wait to get banned from the forum... because Bioware can't deal with critisim from her fans/customers, Ibelieve there are words for that kind of attitude... nevermind... fact is that you let us down big time Bioware!

<_<

So what exactly is the main complaint with the endings?

Is it to do with the 'no matter what you do, you only get 3 choises' thing?
Or is it more to do with the balls-up/nonsence with the Catalyst's so called 'plan'?
