This didn't lead to any problems but last night when I was playing, I received a message saying I had previously played on a different console. Could someone else be using my gamertag?

No this is the first step into getting the black screen right after the Bioware logo, when the game starts up. This will make the game UNPLAYABLE until they patch it. My advise is to delete all saves on mass effect 3 and just make 1 save or else it will happen to your game, no lie. Just search "black screen" on the forum search a lot of people have the problem now.

That's happened to me as well. It doesn't seem to affect my save data or ability to play or anything like that, but it is annoying.
