So i want to know what peoples emotional response was to their first playthroughs ending.

First of all i really enjoyed my first playthrough, with a ME2 saved male shepard and was romancing Tali in ME2, i really enjoyed her as a character in ME3. But by the time i landed on earth i kinda figured what was going to happen. (Didn't play ME1 but know what happened in it) And once i had to make my final choice i was on the brink of tears. And being a young man at the age of 18 and never have tear  droped to any movie nor game i found this odd. Well, by the end the final scene was over, i was almost crying, i found it so unfair, so sad, and fustrating, and still now, a few days later, it still bothers me, i want to have more!

Tell me how your feelings was if you're up to it, or tell me to go **** my self, your choice :)

Hello,

I was happy, sad, confused, but overall .. It might sound stupid, but proud Looking back to what my Shepard had accomplished in the last three games, and supreemly satisfied. I understand many people where dissapointed, but where they see failure, I see a deeply woven story that made me car to the last second. Only game yet where I volontarily watched the credits untill the end, just for the sake of it.

So yeah, I was basically blown away, not only at the end per se, but also at the realisation of all we had gone through to get there.

Tassigny, im right with you there, looking back at the last two games and what shepard have gone through, i was shaken. But deep down, i understand what shepard had to go through in the last moments but, i wish it was a different ending :)

Tho, i for one cant find any better ending than the one BioWare made.

Kinda sums up with I want to say but let me just say it anyway.

Okay, about the ending... I don't hate it but I don't like it either. It's more like I'm dissapointed. Really? After all the choices and all the relationships Shepard build so far for 5 years? Ended with a very vague ending? It's like they're rushing through the ending. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's all over with the reapers and all that but deep inside me I want to know what is the outcome for every other character there. They can't be all just dead!?

True.. While the ending seemed a tad rushed i think what fustrated me the most was the fact that i wanted to know what happened! And maybe the fact that those characters may never be used in a game again, if they choose to make new games i doubt they bring back old companions with new "shepards" or maybe thats just me :/

Well.. Bioware did great. But... i just did the two endings possible.. i really don't feel good..seriously.. there is no word to describe this.. the end is not "bad" in term of writing. But, i'm completely up side down.. i don't want to sleep i don't want to go take a ride in my car i don't wanna do anything. It just.. broke me..

Completely broke my heart, especially after all the trouble I went through acquiring a 6000+ EMS rating. Really makes you feel like all your efforts starting with ME1 were totally pointless.

I registered with BSN a long time ago but only started posting now. Feels like group therapy or something after having to experience the ME3 ending(s).

Empty, kinda wished ive never played through 3 tbh. ME1 & 2 werent perfect but in the end it felt there was hope and the end was fitting. 3 just destroyed my ME universe because allot of things you previously done seems pointless :(

It also made me think EA and BW was set out to kill Shep from the beginning of the development. It was a very VERY sad day when ive finished the game.

5 years of following Shepard's story intensely just to be destroyed utterly in the last 10 mins of the game.

Fortunately my main femShep had a story in a way that the end actualy made sense. I was pretty heart-broken at the end. Felt empty like after a realy realy good movie or book. I actualy had to take a whole afternoon just listening to the soundtrack and mourning all that was lost. Wouldnt have minded to see how the races turn out after all the choices she made.

I was in denial, I replayed the mission to pick another choice only to see the same damn thing. I was also laughing because the joke was on me for looking forward to a satisfying conclusion.

Well, alittle off topic, if any have played DAO (And i can see alot of you have) Then i did enjoy that you had the option to sacrifice yourself as a grey warden. but Shepard... It somehow seems right for him / her to accept the fate, but yet i found a lack of choice in the matter, that put me off :(

I felt pretty crappy, cause for the entire game I felt like Bioware took a minor step forward after ME2's plot and a major step forward regarding the characterization. Then, the ending happened, at that completely threw everything I was feeling out the window.

Sure, it was sad, but that's not the real issue. The real issue is a total lack of closure and inconsistencies within the plot that the ending raises.

Totaly happy with Bioware decision. They showed that not all stories can end like with happily ever after fairy tale ending. And I understood the reason behind it as well as the affect ME 1-2 had on ME3
