The only people defending Morrigan are ones who shared bodily fluids with her.

There's two moments in the game that I think sum up Morrigan really well: When you give her the mirror--she just doesn't know understand what it means for someone to give without expecting something in return--and one of the incidental conversations between she and Lelianna--Lelianna calls her lonely, and Morrigan begins to protest but for once is unable to come up with a smart remark.



I actually find myself pitying Morrigan more than being annoyed or frustrated with her. She might project a lot of strength, but she's really a very damaged woman. Claudia Black plays that part of her personality beautifully. She brought the same dimension to Aeryn Sun and REALLY made it work.

Up untill she asks me to kill kids. Then I feel the need to slap her sensless.

Granted, I haven't been able to play non-stop so I'm only just on the last Treaty quest, but I don't recall any situations where Morrigan has asked me to outright kill someone like that (except Flemeth). She has more of a self-preservationist sort of apathy.



I WILL say that as the game progressed and I've built a higher approval with her that she's been less likely to disapprove of an altruistic action that I've taken as the P/C (and no, it's not because we're "swapping fluids." I'm playing my prototypical uber-Dex female warrior on this run). She might SAY something, but her approval doesn't drop. Although that COULD be a matter of her just not being scripted to lose approval in the first place....

Getting approval wiht Morrigan is easy. IIRC, she gets the buigegst gift boost of all.



Doesn't the Grimoire give like +26 or something?



Heck, I played a good-two-shoes and I still had her at 100 by just giving her 3-4 presents

I find it easy to keep them happy too and the dwarf is easier than Sten to keep happy. What I really want for Morrigan, and Lelianna, to "share" the main character. I mean, both are supposed to be all for the free love stuff but suddenly they develop a problem if it's 'their' man? Furthermore, they seem to not put up as much of a fight if you marry the queen. So suddenly the Queen is better than them somehow?

Hmmm... I play males, however have deepest hate towards Morrigan ( I'm not even letting her have her Grimoires anymore, ditch ), yet I'm not sure if I like the concept of slapping.

Now that they've released the campaign resources, this wasn't hard to put together. I have it working as a mod that adds to morrigan's conversation. One of the default options is now to slap her, which is available whenever you talk to her and you get +5 approval as well.

Just double checking everything now before I upload it.

Edit: Ok mod is online.

Slapping and sharing of bodily fluids may not necessarily be mutually exclusive..

Yeah, she deserves more then a slap. I'd love about 900 pages of more dialogue responses to go along with those slaps. (Keeping it PG for Forum Purposes, I wouldnt be so nice in the responses though)

I always just end up leaving her at the camp, I cant take the constant disapprovals and whining. Someone needs to make her a Gag Helmet, keep her mouth shut. Maybe she'd be of more use then..in a 'PG' way of course.
