Honestly guys I'm with all of you demanding a change but lets be honest they don't HAVE to do ****. They can just say that is the story they wanted to tell, simple as that. I mean despite all the polls and threads, twitter posts, and outrage I am a realist. 20,000 people are not a majority and yes there probably is a giant silent majority but if they dont voice their opinion then nobody cares. It's like everyone who complains about COD each year yet it tops sales records each year, most people are gullible.
So what happens if they dont change it? What will be your feelings then and what are you going to do?
Honestly for me if there is no change in the ending I think this will be my last BioWare game. This is something I never expected to say let alone think of especially since I enjoyed DAII. But honestly ME3 gave me a feeling in my stomach I have never felt in a video game EVER, so I just cant trust a company that can play with your emotions like that. The only other series I have felt such an emotional connection to was MGS and MGS4 ended perfectly for me, it might have been a cop out "happy" ending, but I cried and felt good about it. Even if Snake died at the end and there was no final BB scene I still would have been happy. But ME3 is like Snake failed and died, Patriots won, and we dont even find out what happens to any of the characters.
What if they DON'T change it?

They'll lose a lot of future customers.

Then BioWare never sees another dime from me. No more DLC, no more ME merchandise - nothing.

What if ? No more money for them. Simple.
Hell i'm behind Bioware since the first Baldur's Gate, never feel betrayed like that. Never.

Nor any Bioware product. It's a matter of voting with your money. If we gathered outside of their office and threatened them, then that would be terrorism. However our money is ours and we do not have to spend our money on a product that we know will let us down. They've created this forum for customer's opinion. I'm merely voicing mine on what condition I will spend my money for their product.

All hell will break loose.
Or not really.
But they'll loose DLC sales and a huge chunk of their hardcore, loyal fanbase.

No more money from me either. Maybe we're just a part of the fanbase, but it's still a lot of money that goes away.

I'll stop coming here ( only visit for any hope of news for future DLC regarding the ending ) and pretend bioware doesn't exist.

They get no more money from me. That goes for both EA and Bioware.

I'm guessing if they don't change it a lot of DLC won't be profitable.

As far as I'm concerned there's nothing they can do to "fix" it. I'm never going to pre-order a Bioware game again. I will wait, and I watch my friend's play them, I'll watch YouTube videos about them, and then I'll decide whether or not to spend my money on their games.

I feel exactly the same as you. the ending made me feel absolutely devastated and horrible. my hope that built up over 3 games was completely crushed... my visions of a happy ending with Shepard/LI were torn apart.
I thought Shepard deserved at least that after all the losses, after all the sacrifices he/she made. (if you work towards it and have enough assets)
if they dont make a new ending I will lose hope in Bioware and probably never buy any of their games again, because ME3's ending was just that big of a stab to my heart

I will not buy DLC for this.
I will carefully consider any future BioWare purchase and will not pre order.

Best case scenario? They will feel the impact (finencial and feedback wise) for months to come, and rethink their business model alittle...
Worst case scenario (and most likely one, I am not stupid^^): They will pretty much ignore it and say something along the lines "peolple didn't like it? oh sorry, we really had no clue" in a few months... like with DA2.

I'm not one of the, "No more BioWare" people, actually. I don't think they owe us anything, and to be honest, I'm not optimistic we'll GET anything. All that happens if they leave the ending as-is is that I'm really let down and I stop recommending the Mass Effect series, and probably shy away from Day-1 purchases of BioWare IPs. Which in turn almost definitely means I'm buying them used, so I guess they're losing my money, but not intentionally. I still like BioWare as a company, and I still think they churn out a lot of good product, even if this one was incredibly disappointing.

Other than that... very little.
