I've lost any kind of faith in the competence of BW writers, I'm not even sure if the alternate ending will be worth the cost to download.
I'm just hoping there will be a fanmade mod one of these days for one of the excellent youtube videos.
What if they DON'T change it?

This, they hurt there brand. With all the negative press EA/Bioware has been getting especially over the DLC THEY LIED ABOUT, it will hurt brand names.
The same reason companies don't like to do recalls is it hurts future brand names, hurting your targeted demographic is the same problem. You lose market share because trust takes time to build and can be shattered very easily.

17 ending and none of them are good... worst letdown EVER for me in my gaming history and i played a lot of game. I never see that one coming from bioware. Not cool bioware, not cool at all.

I'm already leaning towards not buying any dlcs, period (even alternate ending ones). If they fail to address this hack job of an ending entirely, I will simply stop buying their products. Dragon Age 3, merchandise, whatever else. Unfortunately, that's the only way we can really send a message to Bioware/EA.

they'll change. People keep finding 'secret' stuff in files, joker's secret dialoge to save sqmates and/or killing the harbinger or script showed anderson is alive etc. et.c

I will respect them more if they don't, no way in Hell I'm paying for a retconned ending. Just stick with it now Bioware, you made your bed now lay in it.

If they do not offer alterantive endings via DLC then I would have to seriously reconcider investing more time into any following games. I'm not being petty I just don't think I could play through other awsome games knowing that they may end on such an unsatifing note.

Easy, no new endings, no more investment from me on this company since what BioWare wants to produce/write and what I want to play/experience will be very different things.

Then, sad as I am to say it, I think I'd be done with Bioware, whose games I have loved for well over a decade
I can't put that much emotional investment into a story just to have it torn to shreds again.

What if they DON'T change it? Then my copy of ME3 is going in a crate and in the basement and I will never buy ANYTHING from Bioware any more!

This explains it all between Bioware games and me if they don't change the ending.

I don't think its a bed they made.More like a coffin. They dug themselves their own graves and buried themselves alive. Now Bioware will suffocate until EA gets rid off them because they aren't making money anymore.
I never could get how or why the Normandy was traveling through the relays in the end. Isn't Mass Relay travel supposed to be instantaneous?

After some thinking I came to conclusion that it probably does not even help if they change the ending with dlc or patch (depends on how good new ending[s] would be). If that is the way they want to end Shepard's story and amazing trilogy it's "fine" for me. However I'm seriously considering about unsubcribing from swtor and passively boycotting bioware games in future. I can't affect what kind of games they make but I can change where I spend my money. It's just sad that ending ruined whole trilogy for me. I can't recommend any of those games to anyone anymore even though mass effect 2 is probably best game I have ever played. I don't care if it's art or not or if there is some kind of "philosophical statement" in the end. For me it's entertaiment and I did not enjoy it and I can't trust them to deliver enjoyable entertaiment in future after that. All this may sound little drastic for some of you, but its the way I feel now.
