I'll stop coming here ( only visit for any hope of news for future DLC regarding the ending ) and pretend bioware doesn't exist.

I definitely don't like it but you're right, Bioware isn't obligated to do anything. My opinion is that if they do listen, it shows support for their fan community, if not, well....

I imagine that pirates will use their trade on Bioware's goods.

I wont invest my time in another Bioware product.

I'm already considering canceling my SWTOR account.

I just can't support a company that would do what they did to an amazing franchise.

I agree with most others ... if there are no changes then I won't ever load up a Mass Effect title or other Bioware title ever. No new purchases, no new DLC, nothing.

What's worse is that I'm growing more & more convinced that Bioware knew exactly what the reactions would be and they opted to do it anyway. If some company deliberately chooses to inflict [mild] emotional distress on some / many of its most loyal customers then that's a company that I can't morally justify doing business with.

People will just lower their expectations. I'll probably be little less invested with the whole decision making aspect. The salarians not supporting me added tension and in the end added nothing. So all it's done for me is lower certain expectations. Instead of buying bioware games I'll probably end up renting games or waiting until they go on sale for 20 bucks.

The only other DLC I'll even THINK about buying is the one that brings back Jack and promotes her to squad member again. Unless the endings change, of course...

People will start trading in their copies, DLC won't sell, Bioware won't sell as many Preorders/Deluxe Editions for future releases, Swtor will bleed accounts at a faster rate as Bioware fans who stuck with it out of loyalty lose interest.

General loss in profit and respectability.

I'm not one of the, "No more BioWare" people, actually. I don't think they owe us anything, and to be honest, I'm not optimistic we'll GET anything. All that happens if they leave the ending as-is is that I'm really let down and I stop recommending the Mass Effect series, and probably shy away from Day-1 purchases of BioWare IPs. Which in turn almost definitely means I'm buying them used, so I guess they're losing my money, but not intentionally. I still like BioWare as a company, and I still think they churn out a lot of good product, even if this one was incredibly disappointing.

We got an incomplete product that blatently didn't do what they said it would. Not tried and failed. Not tried and it turned out we didn't like it after all. They just didn't do what they said they would.

Uhhhh, i honestly will never buy another bioware item unless they at least slighty add to the OG ending showing something, or at minimum take out animations that lead to more confusion. my mind can accept the given ending if they alter some of the end slightly to make it more linear or something. then there has to be some kind of resolution DLC other than playing Omega or whatever...
I want resolution/epilogue DLC or I'll keep complaining. I'm not angry anymore...more feeling let down and losing trust in the company i love.

If it's not improved I won't be buying any DLC. It's not a threat, it's just how it is.

Well if they don't release a fix for the travesty of endings, it wont change how much I loved the rest of the game. I might still replay it at some point but as it is the ending is far to disappointing to do so. In addition I would definatly not support other DLC for the game and I'm certainly not going to be investing in CE editions of Bioware games anymore, if I buy them at all.

Plenty of other game companies out there making pretty good games. Maybe not written to the caliber of your average BioWare product, but hey, I can just watch YouTube videos if the story is that great.

But why should I get invested in, and spend my money on, one of their games again, when I'll be sitting there thinking that it could potentially end with a conclusion as slapdash and utterly infuriating as this one?

I would encourage you to do just that and send in a polite letter saying exactly why you cancelled.  If enough people vote with their dollars, let Bioware know why they are not supporting current or future products, etc. then maybe something reasonable will be done.

If not then let Bioware / EA go the way of the dinosaur.

I will not be buying any map packs, weapon packs, or appearance packs. It will take convincing to buy any story DLC or merchandise. It will take ALOT of convincing to buy another game.

About the only thing that could get me interested in BioWare is them backpedaling and letting the Warden come back for Dragon Age 3.

I won't be getting any DLC for ME3, that's for sure. I mean, even if it's content I'd normally want to play, I don't think I could bring myself to it. It'd just be depressing.

As for future BioWare products, I'll definitely be wary. I was already starting to get skeptical about their games, I would think twice about getting their next game. I would have to know it was good before buying.
