If nothing gets changed, or no DLC get's released where we go on a quest to find our crewmates and our LI, then BioWare has lost a long-time customer.
This probably won't matter to them, but it does for me, as i've been there since the first Baldur's Gate (someone else here is as well) and I always found that they made great games with great stories, but this here... NO.

If they don't change then i'm going to be blunt here. They can .. off and i'm never interested in any game they will do in the future. If stuff stays the same then it's over

Not to be antagonistic, but the people claiming to quit/boycott bioware over an ending is ridicilous and I don't see half of the people of being honest with such conviction. I know there are those who are and will, but I think it's empty threats on a message board when it's in such excess.

Probably right...personally though, I did it with Ubisoft and have no problem doing it with Bioware either.

Nothing, what is done is done. But as a long time Bioware fan I'll certainly become more vigilant in the future, after DA2 and now this, my faith in them has been lowered considerably. I won't be boycotting anything, but from now on I won't be taking the label Bioware for granted as meaning excellent, as it has I have been (correctly in my opinion) in the past.

Considering that Tali's dialogue scarred me for life, I don't know... I don't dare to buy anything more in risk of getting my heart broken again like that.

She deserves more time. Shepard does too. Together.

Very simple, I will play the only thing that is good about the game the gameplay, so saying that translates to: Multiplayer.

Of course, half of the people, who voted for new endings and threatened to boycott BW products, will either never boycott any BW products, or will boycott only ME-related stuff. Thing is, as far as i can see, the feelings of those 20k+, who voted for a new endings, can be safely extrapolated outside this community. So, even if 10% of upset players will either boycott BW and EA completely, will stop buying CEs and such, loose interest in ME related stuff, like DLCs, stop buying BW points - BW and EA will lose quite much money.

Very well said, same here.

if you want your voice heard louder got to my blog which I have a link too in my Sig , click on my ME3 review and click on the links to my polls.

1. would you Boycott Bioware if they don't fix the endings
2. do you believe Multiplayer should have no impact on the single player campaign
3. Facebook Campaign demand better endings for ME3

I agree that it will add up, there's no way to deny it and it is something they have to address eventually. Such alienation is just stupid from a business and art perspective.

They didn't change or add anything for DA2 why would they do it for ME3. Let's face it we have been punk'd. This is resultin in me not buying any DLC or preeorder any future BIoWare game. I mean they have already fooled me twice, how stupid am I too keep buying their products. Maybe when their future games are on sales like 1-10 usd.

I think BioWare created the perfect ****storm with this ending. Even the Illusive man would be proud.

I wouldn't call a boycott, but will just be what a regular customer does, not buying another Bioware game or DLC. Didn't like the direction DA2 was going, didn't buy it. Now this? I got into Bioware because of the epic adventure that they promised. Can you imagine :Luke Skywalker not defeating Vadar and survive? or Indiana Jones not killing scores of bad guys, taking the treasure, but still be the better man? Not buying Bioware is just like not going to see a George Lucas involved film. Does Bioware think I matter? Obviously not, and I won't fuse over it. I'm done.

I used to practically worship Bioware since Baldur's Gate, KOTOR, NWN, ME1, etc.

But now....

Strike 1: Dragon Age 2's horrible gameplay.
Strike 2: SWTOR being just a wow-clone.
Strike 3: ME3's ending...

I don't know if they will be willing to boycott Bioware alltogether, as for me I've done it before and I will do it again. But if there is one thing I'm certain of, it is that Bioware will be having a real hard time selling any DLC for this game and any Mass Effect related product in the near future.

Because if these people actually feel the same way I do, then there is no way they can have any kind of fun out of retaking Omega or whatever else they will throw at us, knowing how it all ends.

Only once before I've said such a thing, and it was regarding SOE after the NGE release for Star Wars Galaxies. I am proud to say that even after all these years I have never again bought a SOE or Sony product, either software or hardware. I lost faith on the company, on the customer's support and on their ability to provide the products they had advertised.

Now, it happens once again. I have been a fan of Bioware since Baldur's Gate, and I have purchased and played all their releases, (not all the expansions and DLC though). Even after the failure that Dragon Age 2  was, I didn't rage against Bioware, and kept on playing its other titles.

But this last stunt by Bioware was just one too many. The game wasn't a failure, the ending was. And it was so disconnected from the game that it could only happen it Bioware wanted it to happen that way. I could have accepted a poor game design, or even a poor story line with plot holes (which it does have by the way), but I cannot in good conscience keep on supporting a company that decides on its own to betray its playerbase in order to try a new element in game story telling. And unlike DA2, MA3 affects the entire series.

So, as it stands, I will not renew my SW:TOR accounts subscriptions (I got 2) and I will never again purchase another game from either Bioware or EA games. For many years I have trusted these companies, even when their ability to deliver top games was crumbling, and the focused more marketing than game designing.

And I know I am not alone in this. However, I do this not because of a petty revenge as some have said, or because I want Bioware to feel in its pocket the loss of income due to their mistakes and mismanagement. The only reason I decided to never again purchase their games is because I just DO NOT TRUST THEM any longer. Even  if they release a new ending (DLC or not) I am not sure I will play it. The memory of this travesty of endings we have is seared into my mind, and it has already spoiled every hour, every moment I ever spent playing Mass Effect games.

As someone said, I wish I could call Doctor Who, if only to ask him to prevent me from ever playing the game in first place.

The realist in me unfortunetly says that the endings wont be changed, but if they are not, neither i will support Bioware and EA ever again with my money. Be that a new game or dlcs. Ive stood by bioware and bought every game since mass effect 1. I had a bad feeling after DA2, but i still preordered ME3 Collectors Eddition , for it to end this way? This is a punch right to the gut. All the time i spent in the mass effect universe, making and contemplating the right choices , different LIs, and after all these years, only to have it all not make any difference...

Why should i invest in a company that does not fully invest in me anymore? Im done

A lots of angry customers is bad for business in the long run.

Not to mention it can affect SWTOR subscriptions. Personally I probably won't renew it either. Not because I am angry, but because I feel so empty that I am not in the mood of playing with anything after this.

Easy, if they don't fix it:

- I won't buy any DLC
- I won't buy Dragon Age 3
- I will cancel my swtor subscription

If they don't change the ending, they will lose a fan that has been loyal since the time of Knights of the Old Republic. I used to believe that BioWare was the greatest developer ever.... but I was wrong, boy was I wrong.

My only recourse as a customer is to boycott them. I have 2 companies now that have lost thousands of dollars from me because I won't even consider buying from them. Not even a drop in a bucket for them and they will continue making money, just not from me.

I will respect and accept their decision, but I won't buy any future DLC or game.
