I have ME3 linked to this account now as per the account help page but it is still not detecting that I own ME3. I'm not sure how to correct this.

Have you clicked on the Register Game in the My Games --> Register Game?

Yes I have. It tells me it doesn't detect I own the game.
I seem to have found the problem. When EA moved my ME3 to my BSN account and disabled the original serial, apparently the new serial (along with the subsequent serial to replace to serial) does not work to activate the game.
So now I am stuck with a Mass Effect 3 I cannot play with no one able to help me. All EA help does is continue to issue me new serials, all of which do not work. And then they go through a standard script of run CCleaner, reinstall Origin, reinstall the game, try registering it on social.bioware.com (lol).
