[The Angry One]

In this topic we come up with stupid plot twists for DA expansions and/or sequels.
The less coherent and logical, the better! Just try not to make them all about Morrigan's devil-child.

I'll start:

It turns out Flemeth is actually Andraste!
Andraste was not only a Lyrium addicted mage, she was also an Abomination, and is now the evil mastermind sacrificing the old gods to the darkspawn to gain ultimate power!
The ashes? Oh they burned one of her bodies alright. Just not her current one.

The true Archdemon all along was really Ol' Tegrin, and his frequent ambushing of the Warden was just a way to assess his progress along the journey. Now he will destroy you with his fine weapon and arms, dwarven made.

Lilianna is actually the Empress of Orlias slumming as a common bard/spy ... You eventually will loot her treasure trove of a million brilliantly colored silk shoes, and find the Ruby Slippers needed to take you home again.

There is a constant power struggle between dragons and demons.



First, the Demons ruled with the elves, then the draogns ruled with the Tevinter Imperium and now the demons once again have the upper hand with the chantry.

Duncan has always been a thrall of the Archdemon. The reason they killed him in Ostagar is because he forgot to pay the rent.

The Chantry version of everything is completely correct and fine, and the leadership of the Chantry are quiet reasonable, noble, do-gooding folk.

Loghain actually still is the awesome superhero from the books; he was being mind controlled by a desire demon the entire time.

Why do we never see this demon? In fact we do, for... Loghain's real daughter died long, long ago...

We find out that in addition to the anvil of the void, Carigan built the Forge of the Darkspawn and we need to go further into the deep where we can chose to destroy it for all eternity or keep it and use it to further the hidden Grey Warden agenda of World Domination.

You find out that Sandal is the Maker, a blood mage, and the reincarnation of Dumat

Leliana is actually an ancient Tevinter mage with powers to sustain her life and change her look. Turns out she played a "prophet" role once for her own amusement, which was taken way too serious by the world. She is now plotting the restoration of the Tevinter glory by following the same scheme, avoiding faking her own death this time by having the Grey Wardens serve her as elite bodyguards. Her arch-rival Flemeth is now dead, so the world's only hope is Morrigan's child. (sorry, couldn't resist mate )

In Dragon Age 3, the child from the Starfang event will return as Superser, defender of truth, justice and the Ferelden way.

His archenemy will be your Dog. Tainted beyond hope by darkspawn blood, Dog gains super-intelligence and with an army of Darkspawn at his command threatens the world under a new Blight. To symbolise his rise to power, he takes a new name for himself: Rex Ruthor.

Sandal is not anything of the above!

In truth, Sandal is the gestalt buildup of all the Old God's spirit as well as the spirits of the Grey Wardens that gave their lives to slay it. Thats the reason why physically he's not fully complete, being short and all, and a beardless dwarf at that, which we all know does not exist, and why he doesn't say much.

In the end, as the Last Blight ends with the last slaying of the last Old God, a NEW God is born through Sandal, and the world will tremble at last at the coming of the One, True God of humanity.



The Emperor of Mankind is born, and will lead our armies to the very Stars themselves!

The darkspawn seek out and corrupt the old gods out of ncecessity, an uncorrupted old god would stop them, and return the black city to gold.



Flemeth was really a god of the Tevinter imperium, seeking to rescue her colleagues corrupted by the blight. To eventually return to the world and bring peace.



Unfortunately for your bloodthirsty maniacs, you killed her, and then refused morrigans offer, which would have brought in a new enlightened age. Now there are no uncorrupted old gods lefts, and hence no major hurdle to stop the darkspawn...

You play as Sandal to conquer the Taint, and in the process find Morrigan and turn her bi, allowing you to have a happy trio relationship with her and Leliana. Sandal also resurrects Duncan to be his tutor, learning the legendary Beard Fu. In the final climactic battle, the Golden Archdemon removes his clown makeup to reveal that he is, in fact, Sandal's real father, Shoe, and he also knows Beard Fu. The raging battle between two Beard Fu masters cannot be ignored, and the Maker turns back to humanity. Thus, Sandal saves the entire universe.

Actually there are 2 left.
Remember all that digging Dog does in camp? He's actually trying to dig for the 2 remaining old gods to save them before the darkspawn get to them.
Dragon Age 2: Digathon 5000 will center around you, your shovel and your dog as you race the darkspawn to the last old gods. You know Dig Dug? It'll play like that.
