I think sooo from many angry fans. I'm not hurt, mad and disappointed. All I wanted was too continue on with my character after beating game, spending time eith L.I and having more L.I options liked in 2. I put sooo much money, hours and years in Mass Effect. I am demanding, I want those things and want a better ending, Conent and romancing!!! PLEASE BIOWARE CAN YOU MAKE CHANGES, PLEASE?

Do you agree?

They aren't hiding, they are probably on vacation. They are human beings, you know. They've been in crunch time for many months, working extremely long hours. I'm sure they are being kept up to date with what is going on though.

Wait for the game to come out in Japan (which will then make it globally available), then you'll probably see a response. I think they want everyone to have a chance to play the game first before commenting.

They have noticed the backlash, that's for sure.

Yeah most devs go on vacation for a week after releasing a game. They probably have people working in case of an emergency with the game though.

I think the Developers knew how it would turn out. Remember that article "Some fans will be unhappy with ME3's ending"?

I don't know if they realised it would be this severe though (But they should have, and I'm glad it is)

I agree. After a game this big, the entire team is likely on downtime. Give it a few weeks to a month, and we might start hearing from them again. They might even pay attention to the community outcry about the endings...but I doubt EA will let them. Either that, or overpriced ending DLC.

This.  I remember reading stuff on the Bethesda Blog that the office became very very empty for a week or two after Skyrim dropped.

I just think they should do something. I didn't waste my hours, my fun times, money and few years just to get that crappy endings.

Crafting new endings from scratch isn't exactly going to happen overnight, assuming they even change.  They have to decide how they're going to respond first, if at all.  It took over a month for BioWare to admit DA2 was anything other than the most innovative game ever made.  I remember when the DA2 dev responsible for the area design (yes, the one dev responsible for area design) said he didn't think it would be "such a big deal" about the recycled environments.  I wouldn't be surprised if it were a single writer who wrote the endings and I equally wouldn't be surprised if it were a writer that did not work on the first two games given BioWare's hemorraging of writing talent for this series.

I will say that the sheer amount of consensus over the ending issue is very persuasive and I can't imagine what the good doctors must be thinking at the moment.  How do you fix this?  How do they even go about acknowledging it without causing more problems?  It's fascinating.  This combined with the day 1 DLC controversy and DA2's failure (button awesome)...

BioWare has lost fan faith to an unbelievable degree.  I don't think they can afford to ignore this problem.

It's too early, the game hasn't even been out a week yet.

I am surprised they haven't made a constructive criticism like they did with DA2 though.

The game got gold 1-2 months ago right?

Launch Day and Developing the game is not the samething, and the game is not bug/glitch free.So they need make a patch (including the faceimport thing)

I'm pretty sure that if the community was acting positive and happy about ME3 the Devs would at least make a topic or two.
So... Yeah. They are hiding, They are analyzing our Feedback (Main reason that BSN exist is to give feedback about the games) and can't comment on the endings until Bioware oficial statement,

The reason why people are so passionate about the ending is because the rest of the game is incredible (though not without some minor faults).

I've also seen several BW employees notice. I don't think Mr. Gamble expected the outpouring of complaints regaridng the final ten minutes of the game. He seemed to be all excited that people would hold onto their ME3 saves, then had to post a day later that he was watching the reaction and wasn't ready to post a response yet. I've seen at least one BW moderator regard the ending as a "hallucination", and ask if the company knew whether this was the case or not.

The onus on them to respond is getting louder and louder by the day.

Mass Effect 3's great, but I do not like being lied to and taken advantage of as a customer (case in point: Javik). I could've bought the game later at a cheaper price, but it was one I knew I wanted. I don't regret buying it at all, I think it's a great game. I even bought the CE.

I just hope they do something to make it right for lying to us... Maybe give us all a free DLC weapon pack, or new endings or something.

Weapon and costume packs don't impress me much. If the situation with the endings is rectified, I'll probably end up doing what I did with ME2: buy all mission-related DLC that comes out. Until then, there really isn't even a point in revisiting the first two games.

It doesn't help that last week was GDC, lot of leads on the team tend to go.

It could be because... It's the weekend?

I know, how dare they have weekends off to spend time with their families, we've got frothing rage that needs a warm body to be screamed at!

It's their job, people get days off.

A company needs to read, go over, and have meetings about this stuff. You're not going to just have Victor Von Bioware pop up and go "Okay, I listened to you today, We've fixed it all for you! We had to go abduct Hale and Meer in the middle of the night and beat them with rods to get the sound right, but here you go!"

I've heard of other developers taking a week or so off after a major release. They were probably in a lot of heavy crunch time. 80 hr weeks aren't uncommon near the release.
