Right now she is using Scorpion. What gun do you use and why? If you want to explain why.

For squad mates, the scorpion is the best because they're not effected by weight. I think the hornet is the best smg in the game.

You should level up guns squad mates are using because they're weapon damage is scaled down.

I gave Liara the paladin and the Hurricane (smg that comes with the CE). She mostly uses the Paladin. I wish we could allow our squadmates to have just one weapon.

i'm not sure Hornet is the best, ok it make big damages to armor, but it fire 3 bullets only at a time...
So for covering Shepard, may be Teamsquads need a weapon which spit lot of bullets like the Tempest...
Any advice ?
In general i give Liara Hornet or Tempest, and Phalanx instead of Carnifex, because it fire more quick than Carnifex...
I'm trying the Paladin now...

Isn't that what the empty slot is for? It works for my Shepard if I want him carrying his sniper rifle instead of an assault rifle.

Hurricane > Paladin > Hornet ≥ Carnifex

I don't have the hurricane, i have buy ME3 on the PSN Store, and no way to have those extra guns... Even if i have buyed it at his exit... No way for PS3 Peoples to pay it in advance (precommand) to have extra dlcs...

Anyone here know if it is possible for PS3 to have those guns ? accross a DLC or a online code, or any other way  ?
I have some of those extra guns in Multi, but not in solo...

I agree with you, no change if you equip teamates with only one weapon it don't change nothing, not like Shepard, they don't have weight problems...

I let Liara use for pistol the N7 eagle and the N7 hurricane smg of the collectors edition, I only lend her my N7 weapons  <3, sometimes I also let her use the paladin, carnifex or phalanx and for the smg the locust, only the best for Liara

The reason why I let her use them is because I think that they do good damage

I give her the N7 Hurricane and the M-358 Talon. The Hurricane gives great DPS and serves more or less as an assault rifle, whilst the Talon is a 'pocket shotgun'.

Hurricane and Carnifex/Paladin. All day everyday. ^^

Weapon weight and accuracy doesn't affect squadmates so give Liara a Hurricane with Damage + Extended Clip and for a pistol I'd say Carnifex/Paladin with damage and armour piercing mods.

Plus Warp Ammo = good times!

Forced to take her? I have to force myself NOT to take her. She is the most overpowered squadmate in the game and she works well with every class.

Her Warp can set up and detonate biotic explosions, and it can also detonate tech bursts, all on a 6-second cooldown. Her Singularity is very quick (usually around 2-4 seconds depending how I spec her) and can lift or stagger most enemies. Her Stasis will freeze most enemies in spot, most notably Phantoms.

Only her Warp ammo sucks, but you do not have to put any points into that anyway.

I give her the locust and whatever I'm in the mood for for a pistol.
In ME2 when I get the locust I always give one to kasumi and liara the other in LotSB (I pretend there is still only the two locusts even though Jacob can fabricate them.

So I like to keep the locust with her.

As an Insanity Vanguard, I sometimes forget I have squadmates.  Also, I prefer using Kaidan and Javik over Liara.  I never use Stasis and I can't see a reason for myself to want to use Singularity.

My Liara usually has the Hurricane and the Eagle. I admit it's because I like how the Eagle feels in combat when I am playing a pistol wielding class and don't want to waste money on leveling up a bunch of different pistols. I would rather use the cash on a few weaps that I really love for the whole squad.
