When forced to take her? Hurricane and Paladin like everyone else.

Forced to take her? I have to force myself NOT to take her. She is the most overpowered squadmate in the game and she works well with every class.

Her Warp can set up and detonate biotic explosions, and it can also detonate tech bursts, all on a 6-second cooldown. Her Singularity is very quick (usually around 2-4 seconds depending how I spec her) and can lift or stagger most enemies. Her Stasis will freeze most enemies in spot, most notably Phantoms.

Only her Warp ammo sucks, but you do not have to put any points into that anyway.

Agree with all the above, but I understand why some people wouldn't take her. As much as boss as Liara is in combat, people who roll a Shep with biotics might want to bring along a techy and a tank instead. Not that there is anything wrong with biotic spam of course, but some people might opt for a squad that is a jack-of-all-trades.

I roll a soldier however, so I always loved when Liara was on the team. Her biotic abilities always complimented my soldier nicely. And she completely owns. She's often dropping people left and right before my Shep can get to them.

I usually have squad members use 1 specific weapon that also lets them stand out. Also full auto weapons (Avenger, Tempest, Eagle) tend to be better overall for your squad as they fire to slowly with weapons they need to keep pulling the trigger to fire.

Garrus Black widow
Kaidan Saber
EDI Hurricane if I got Cyro ammo if not the Eagle
Tali Plasma Shotgun
Liara Scorpion
Javik Particle Rifle
James Falcon
Ashley Reverent

I play too much Insanity with Squad Auto-powers turned off to see a difference, so I never bring her.  Plus, she's the squishiest character on the team.
