Making a topic just to do that?
Jeez some people have a hard time dealing with negativity.
I for one disliked the ending.
I got nearly 3k but what difference does it make if 1k was all I needed.
Literally 2890 with GR at 50%....and I get those endings....waste my time why dontcha.
Seems to make little difference unless you get the full 3k.

Intentional or not, a huge portion of the customer base is going to perceive the ending of ME3 as a slap to the face.

The second was assuming there's anything to come back to in the ME universe after the ME3 ending. They literally torched the franchise.

We'll see how that holds up once word-of-mouth spreads. Someone posted a chart earlier of DA2's sales compared to DA:O. The contrast couldn't be more clear.SarcasticDots wrote...
The sales suggest there will be a sequel, so yeah.

Pre-orders, yeah. It remains to be seen how that will hold up going forward, though.alikilar wrote...

Bioware may lose hardcore fans, but the expanded audience is going to continue to grow... Whether you see that as a good thing, well, that's up to you.

Trying to avoid spoilers but the outcome of ME 3 will totally eliminate a possible ME 4 post-ME 3 environment.
ME3's ending doesn't eliminate it... given what Shepard receives (Arrival DLC) and the fact that any civilization still breathing can get back on their feet and back to their former glory... they'd just need to be aware of what it'd take.
(Think about what that thing was, won't spoil it though for those who haven't played it yet)

Difference is, every area of Dragon Age 2 is seen as an abomination compared to the first. Mass Effect 3 is actually fun to play and, ignoring the ending, is far better than most games. Plus, you know, as sales increase, so do the amount of new players who really don't care about the first two games and how they tie in with the third.

The game we excellent in my opinion... Only gripe was the crappy over-the-shoulder camera the entire game, and the fact you couldn't put your weapon away (basically they made the game a lot more of a shooter than previously).
The endings were complete horse**** though, completely pissed me off. I'm just replaying ME 1 now, even though it is inferior in pretty much every way the story is absolutely superb...
I'll be honest though: if an ME4 is made I WILL buy it. Yeah i'm a sucker for Bioware, i think they can improve on the ending of ME3 even though it was such a ****-slap for me, someone who followed the series from the beginning... IF they make ME4 and IF they **** up i won't buy any other game from Bioware again though... I personally just think that deciding not to support Bioware after they **** up one ending after two great endings and three great and solid game... They can be redeemed still i think.
That all being said i still want them to fix the endings lol

I love the Mass Effect universe. Like the Star Wars universe, there are thousands of stories to be told!
