I fight a banshee like a praetorian. Try to keep its attention, stay at a fair distance and circle around tall cover to protect yourself from its homing and jumps while your teammates plink away at it. They're hard to hit when they're moving so power down the barriers with whatever homing/hitscan anti-shield or anti-barrier you've got (protip: carnage is useless ;_ and then unload into their armor when you can.

When you've got trash mobs to fight too, kill those first and just keep your distance from the banshees until they're done (vanguards and infiltrators have a major advantage here, so use it).

In that last fight in London, just run away until the timer runs out.

I honestly don't understand why people find banshees hard. They are slow, even their charge is slow, easily kiteable and only dangerous in melee range. Even brutes are harder as they are faster and you actually have to dodge them. Just run around and spam whatever armor eating abilities you have.

General rule I think is, keep firing at the Banshee, that way she wont blink. Be calm, her long range attacks like the explosion, warp, etc. are slow. You can see them coming miles away. When you see her doing that, roll away / go cover, then unload at her again.

Because they get to 1 hit kill you if get caught. Brutes are easier by far. 3-4 Brutes are easy kills. 3 Banshees... no.

I love the Revenant for suppression/eating through barriers. Shep and Garrus with Revenant Vs and relevant ammo chews through Banshees. I honesty did not find them difficult on my soldier Insanity playthrough.

Yeah, dodging the Super Warp is basically like dodging Harby's Singularity from ME2.

3 Geth Primes is even harder.

I hate those Banshees. I just use Liara's warp and Kaidan's overload or reave to take the barrier down. Then I use the adrenaline rush to shoot that thing with my rifle. And it seems that sniper isn't very effective against the Banshees.

Engineers can solo banshees in the campaign. Just spam overload against their barriers and once they are down to armour, toss down your drone and turret near you and then its just incinerate spam. I used the flamethrower turret and rocket drone.
