Hi all,

I have a problem getting my collectors edition to be recognized. I previously installed a standard digital version since my collector's edition would come at a later date and I just couldn't wait to play.

Now that I have the collector's edition in hand, I uninstalled the digital version and reinstalled using the collectors edition disc. However the version recognized in Origin is still the standard digital version (it still shows its registration key). Is there any way I can remove the standard edition and install the collectors edition so that it's recognized correctly?

Did u use the CE product code? It does not matter what version u install so long as u have the right game serial. See if u can change the serial key. Call them up, give them the key and they will do something. Just a guess but worth a try.

Thanks for the response, yeah that makes sense. So I guess my collector's edition serial key is still unused now. I think I'll save it for a rainy day since the only in game content I really care about from the collector's edition is the From Ashes DLC, which is unlocked separately anyway.
