I can't get my account to recognize I have registered my game with the forums, so I can't post in the gameplay forum.  Help please.

Are you using the correct code? If it's a console version it's 12 or 13 characters in length, on the back of the box. If you are, try again later, repeatedly.

Im having the same issue. My game is registered, but i still cannot post in the forums that require that i own the game for some reason. I've tried reregistering, with all 3 codes, even the one that looked obviously wrong, and i've tried relogging. I bought the game pre-release on steam.

Dragon Age Origins - PC

The link includes most of my characters, as well as a good deal of achievments, showing that i have actually registered the game :P (or at least that is what i think) <_<

You didn't register your game yet, not according to your profile. Here's the link to do so.

I can't register my game at all on the site. It keeps saying the code is invalid. The EA site registered fine but I can't register my game on the social site.

I have the PC CE edition that I pre ordered from the EA Store. I type it exactly as it is on the back of my booklet. I have been trying repeatedly since the game was released.

Before I try, I'm curious as to how it works if my husband and I share the game on the same PS3 console, but with two different characters in the game? (He plays his; I play mine) Do we each have to "register" the game on the social site, etc... ? Or are we limited to one registration per retail copy, period? (It would be silly for us to each buy the same game)

So far, you only need to register the game to post in closed fora and download the toolset. Game accounts only matter so far as online services go. However, mind that DLC is tied to EA accounts, so you will either need to play on the same game account or invest in DLC separately (or one of you loses out on it).

Right. He registered the game, and got the downloaded something or other (I can't remember, it was included in the box. I think it's the rock guy) We also saw that it had a free armor set of some kind, and we're saving that for me, 'cause we didn't know if we could both download both of those free ticket things.

I'm not sure what a DLC account is. (what DLC means)

Also, are an EA account and a Game account two different things?

All I really wanted to know was that in the "Register Games" page:

http://social.biowar...es_register.php

Can BOTH he and I put the same registration code in EACH of our profiles? Or if he does it first, the site won't let me? (I don't want to try just in case I mess something up first)

You do not need any sort of account to play the game. However, online services requires an EA account. This is the account you use within the game, in the bottom left corner, assuming that you do in fact use that. Additionally, if you have a BioWare account linked to said EA account you will be able to upload characters, achievements, and screenshots (enabled by default) to that BioWare account. DLC is short for Downloadable Content, and this, too, requires an EA account (it's an online services, after all). Every piece of DLC is uniquely attached to a single EA account, meaning in your case that only on your husband's account will Shale be available. If neither of you care about the uploading characters to your profile thing, you should be able to play on the same EA account and have access to the same DLC.

I'm fairly certain this is not possible. I do not know what happens if one registers and then removes the registration (which is possible).

[Edit]
I'll add that there are different ways of getting an EA account. Creating a new account within the game automatically creates only an EA account. Creating a new account on this site will either 1) create a brand new EA account if you did not choose one of the options that involve an existing EA account, and link this BioWare account to an account on the old BioWare forum if one exists with the same username; or 2) attach itself to an existing EA account if you select that option (and then likewise look for old accounts). A common mistake people make is registering a new account in the game and then registering another new account on this site, which results in two unique EA accounts (regardless of whether you register the CD key or not).
