I'm currently talking to a friend who says "Yeah, I'm on Rannoch and so far it's awesome! I know you've been right before, but I just don't believe you man. Maybe you did something wrong in your playthrough."
I feel so sorry for his future self. *cries*
Atleast in a day or two he'll be saying ... "God damnit! Why did you have to be right again!"

While my wife plays she stays off the forums. She is actually on Earth right now in the game talking to the crew from the com unit getting ready to hit the end. Talk about being between a rock and a hard place. If I tell her about the ending and she doesn't see it for herself I am in trouble but I also have a feeling now that I didn't warn her about the ending I am in trouble. I am also the one that got her hooked on ME back with ME1 so I am sure I am in trouble there too.

Ha, I was in the same boat. Figured it couldnt be "that" bad. Yet, they somehow make da2's ending look good.
^^
At least in DA2 when Hawke runs away her/his LI goes along.

I was going great right up until you met the Catalyst. It's at that point, with the choices given, that the entire thing just fell flat.

Yeah, I never like to jump on the hate bandwagons that seem to be obligatory after every game release these days. But this one really upset me. I actually have found solace in the company of like-minded people on the forums.
I love your sig.

A 'meh' ending is one thing, it can be overlooked, but this was a HORRIBLE ending that simply made no sense.
Ending basically was:
Reaper devil-machines come to destroy the galaxy. Shephard has a 'chat' with their Star Kid boss -- literally -- and the Reapers either hand over their brains to Shephard, or self-destruct...for no apparent reason.
That is just inexcusable.
