I am not going into the endings issue here, I have already ranted and said my piece about them and how much I was disappointed by them in several other threads, and voted in the poll.

No, this is a bit lighter. Just a couple things I noticed as the series progressed that I questioned as being odd, conspicuous by their absense, or convenient. That means as I remember more of these I will likely reply or edit with others but the first two I wonder if other people noticed and asked about:

1) Where are the Hanar, the Drell, the Elcor? Sure, you see one or two, but they have been reduced in in-game avatars steadily since the first game, to the point where you only see 2 Hanar in the third game, and barely more Elcor. I'd have liked to have seen Kahje, Dekunna, and Irune as missions rather than war asset pickups only. I can understand there not being Vorcha on the citadel, since they're considered vermin, or Yahg, since they're brutes and are still pre-spaceflight culturally, but the Hanar and Elcor have embassies. The Drell are client to the Hanar. Surely they got hit in the war too? Hell I'd have taken a mission to the Vorcha home world. They made it out to be a 'unite the galaxy mission' and a noisy, smelly gunner is better than none at all.

2) I understand WHERE Cerberus got the extra manpower (even though that is still a stretch from the numbers EDI gives you at the end of ME2), but HOW do they manage to not only land on, but take over the Citadel? Even with Udina's help, the entire citadel fleet is there, led by the Destiny Ascension, if you saved it, all of C-Sec, the Spectres, etc. I could understand a raid, smuggled in aboard a refugee or cargo ship, but a full-on takeover, where they somehow snuck aboard Atlas heavy mechs, Drop shuttles, and heavily armored bulky troopers? It's a logistical nightmare no matter how you want to try and pull it off. Phantoms? Sure. Nemisis snipers? Probably. A few soldiers? Maybe. They could blend in. But those guardians and assault troopers aren't sneaking around anywhere in that bulky getup.

I know there are more, feel free to add your own little details, or tear mine apart, idk. At this point I'm just looking for anything I can think about that takes my mind off the ending for a time.
