Just curious since warp has a duration time. If u hit an enemy with warp before that duration ends will it detonate?? or does it have to be like shockwave or throw
Can Warp detonate Warp?

No. The duration of warp is for taking extra damage from weapons or other powers. You can detonate pull, the lift portion of slam, and enemies ragdolled by singularity.
You cannot detonate throw, and I don't think you can detonate shockwave.
In ME3 the rules are a bit different. But the above is applicable to ME2.

What capn233 said.
In ME2 you can only detonate with Warp (when enemy is under the effect of Pull, Sing, or Slam's lift duration). All other biotic powers (and a couple others), however, will be twice as powerful when you use them on ragdolled targets - Throw's force will be doubled if you Pull the enemy first, for example, great to launch enemies into the stratosphere
