So it's been reported that there are 16 endings...plus one more if you import a games plus finish after you beat ME3. Now for all the people complaining about the end, I'm curious how many endings have you seen, and have you seen the game plus finish. Or is all the hoopla because you didn't like the 1 of a possible 17 outcomes that you happened to get.....and thus think Bioware sucks

Talk about the endings but keep the thread spoiler free?

Stuff happens, and only the same three stuffs happen.

There is only one ending with three different colors for the most part.

Let me put it this way: ME2's ending had more variability than ME3's.

All of the endings are virtually the same with minor variations between each one. There is not enough diversity between them to call them unique endings and none of them actually take into account your past actions, just the number you have on your EMS. While you can argue your EMS is a reflection of your previous actions you can still go into the last battle with a terrible fleet and come out a 'winner.' Just play the mutliplayer and get your galactic readiness up to 100% and you're almost ensured one of the 'better' endings.

Don't weigh in on the endings if you haven't gotten there yet. The endings are literally color swaps of each other, and there are only 3. They say it matters what you did at the end of ME2, but this literally makes no difference.

Even saying that there are 3 endings is generous, there's really only one.

Just going by what I read. And I'm curious how many times have you guys beat it in order to know there aren't "THAT many endings"

OP. we are telling you. There are only 3 endings that are somewhat different from each other. They all have SLIGHT variations but they arent huge. 3 colors, 3 endings. Choices in the series don't mean anything, you pick one of them at the end.

There are 3 endings and you basically get to choose whether you want the end movie in red, green or blue. Stop believing there are 17 ending.

Uh... To me there's only 1 ending with 17 variations. The three choices are just the start of those variations. I hate the whole "it must be a bad ending for the sake of being a bad ending and ripping apart 5 whole years of fans devotion".

"And not one of them satisfied you?"

Well, you see, I got red lights, and I wasn't very satisfied, so I went back and I got blue lights. It doesn't appear that anything changed, but for some reason I feel a whole lot more satisfied

\\sarcasm

2 Days later and I still feel like Bioware kicked me in the nuts...

Fair enough, but I don't even feel like I'll be able to weigh in on the ending (after I beat it tomorrow), if there are multiple endings and I'm only seeing one possible conclusion. And for the record.....has anyone beat it twice to see the Games Plus ending?

There is no special NG+ ending unless you're refering to the Stargazer post-credits scene which affords nothing to the  game, story or ending in anyway shape or form.

I've been hearing that it doesn't actually exist, and the publication that printed the info got it wrong. But I havn't confirmed this personally.

lol.

I love how some people don't even finish the game and want to try and be smart. Um, maybe after finishing it and seeing it for yourself then come and comment. I don't care if you like it or hate it. Just finish the damn thing.

The endings are almost the same, different color.

I disagree. Choices may not mean anything in the ending, but my choices have meant plenty into scenarios throughout the game and have been interesting to see them playout.

There are videos on Youtube. Let's put it this way, one of the red endings has a nonvital piece of architecture destroyed in a cutscene while another one does not. Those are counted as two "separate endings."

I was presented 2 options at the end.
And there is 3 if you score high enough.

By your logic there are hundreds of different games in the mass effect trilogy cause of importing.
and 3 different games by default at the start of ME3 without import.
