"Holy ****! Holy ****, I gotta run faster,God i'm almost there, i'm so going to whoop every reaper's ass when I get on that beam, holy **** he's going to hit me."

slow walk:

"Go Shepard, you can reach the ending, it'll all be over soon, just keep walking, goddamn this is intense"

TIM offs himself:

"Respect man. **** the Illusive Man was so well written... It comes, the ending, this will ****ing make me cry, i can't take anymore emotion, oh god god".

Anderson/Shep talk:

"No Anderson, don't go out on me, **** ****, how can this end?! This is intense, I'll finish this once and for all, The party it'll be when I get home with my crew, goddamn this soundtrack rocks!"

10 minutes later:

"why?"

I was thinking "Why the hell did I just spend 30+ hours gathering all these forces for them to die to one reaper here?"

Followed by 15 minutes of "WTF?"

I understand but right I am trying to focus on the positives of this game, and apart from the ending there is quite a bit. Everything was so epic up to that point.

It was thrilling and exciting, after Shepard got hit and then slowly got to her feet I was still engaged... then the slow motion part happened. I missed the first Husk and it ran up and hit me in the face and killed me. Then I had to restart the scene, killed the husks, saw the soldier in front of me go limp.. then a Marauder popped out, I panicked and missed, and it killed me while I was trying to figure out if I could take cover or not.

Really having enemies that could kill you in that sequence kind of killed the impact.

Loved it. Even enjoyed Shep's stumbling along, pistol in hand, through the death and destruction filling the Citadel. (Even though the slow motion bit was a little annoying, eh. I can live with it.) The whole time, I was hollering at my roommate "my god, Shep is a f*** bad a**" etc. JHale's voice acting? (And Mark Meer's as well, from what I've seen?) How tired Shep sounded? Perfect

I thought for sure this was "it" and was like "SHEPARD, I F****** LOVE YOU!". I was so jammed up it was the pinnacle of the entire series for me. Just saying "f*** it we need to go!" and just rishing that beam was so satisfying.

Then...I got hit by the beam and was like "did I screw up?" NOPE, after that my whole feeling sank and I was thoughtless an speechless for the remainder of the game.

It wasen't dissapoaintment, it felt like I failed...like Shepard failed. Shepard, the guy who killed 3 reapers and survived an un-maped relay mission. I just didnt really take it in, I couldnt beleieve that the guy I held so dear [no ******] got bested before the end.

Sadness turned to anger and anger to hopelessness, now here I am.

I was so amped up at that moment. It was utterly thrilling on a deep visceral level. It was blowing my mind.

Too lazy to write my own right now, and this is about the same as I felt here too.

I felt this scene represented an amazing act of defiance, portraying the will of lesser creatures in their struggle to overcome those who seek to destroy them. Running towards Harbinger was an amazingly epic scene.

The scene is amazing to me - the level of destruction around you is shocking and it really does feel frightening. I also found the injured part amazing - at first I thought Shepard was going to die, and when he stumbled on it was pulling at the heart strings since he was/is MY character.

I really liked it, to be honest. It was what followed that killed all hope.

The part with Shepard ****ed up also reminded me alot of the microwave hallway scene in MGS4.

The run itself was pretty badass, Harbinger shooting me was just no damned fair... Shepard can make that run damnit, it's Shepard! Shepard took down Saren, stopped Sovereign, kicked the Collectors right in the face, beat down a Reaper and ... oh dear lord, I just realized, these are the same people who tossed in the Human Reaper fight at the end of ME2.... you know, I wasn't crazy about that, but it didn't matter because the game and it's ending kicked ass anyway with how they wrapped things up. They just forgot to wrap things up this time properly.

I don't exactly need a new ending, I just need some better wrapping up it seems. Mass Effect 3: The Expansion ... you play as Joker and see what really happens after you make your choice. Fly everyone home, have some good conversations with the crew, say goodbye, and of course some romance time with EDI.

Also I just realized the perfect proof why the ending with the Normandy isn't real: Joker is too good of a pilot to let that happen, and of course wouldn't run away without Shepard dragging him out of his damned chair.

"Ho shi-! Move! Move! Move! 3 guys just got vaporized. Double time it, girl! Ack, that one almost hit! Move it! Move it! Ah, f-! Get up! Get up! C'mon, get to the beam! Whoa, marauder! Okay, a little more...There! Wooo! Whoa. Hey Keeper. Well...this looks like something out of Dead Space."

Something like that. But yeah, I was scared for a while there that my squadmates got killed. According to the endings, they're hunky-dory. I love dash and chase type sequences. Chasing after Eva in the beginning of the game was awesome, too.

Wanted to vanguard charge Harbringer right in his face. Had to settle for the running sequence though. I liked it though.

Here I was all "HOOOAH!!!" running towards the beam to the Citadel, ready for an epic battle with whomever was stupid enough to cross me, sort of like the one against Saren. But no, instead I spent the next 15 minutes limping around and ended the game by shooting a pipe.

The epitomy of anti-climax.

I loved the suicide charge (as long as my ground team survived). Even being hit by Habinger's beam was okay. I didn't feel like anything was bad until the Star Child/God Child/Catalyst part.

Congratulations! You made it to the top of the Citadel! Now, in what way would you like to screw over the entire galaxy (and with what color)?

I actually thought that I had brought too little backup with me in the war effort and that I got the bad ending where shepard died. I was sure Shepard was going to die before he reached the beam.

It was a pretty sweet thing though. It was intimidating running over an open field like that while Harbinger destroyed everyone around me.

That part was awesome. The fact that Harbinger itself comes crashing out of the skies to personally terminate Shepard said a lot about how big Shepard had become on the Reaper radar. They had never considered him or any other species as a serious threat, and as Hammer approaches the beam, Harbinger finally realizes how close Shepard is to stopping them.

"Makos are going down fast. Hey another guy just got shot. Just a few more...what just happened?"

"Okay, my interface is messed up and I see some husks. Pew Pew."

"This does not look like the Citadel"

"Hey its TIM"

"Oh, Anderson's dead. Oh well."

"Who's this kid?"

"I'm doing nothing, ya hear?"

And then I never finished Mass Effect 3.

Was thinking of the similarity of it to the trench run of ME1. And realized that this was Harbinger's first appearance in the game, for reasons known only to bioware.
