I never romanced Jacob but have seen the ridiculousness of his character assassination AND the pathetic lines.  I still wonder what happened at BW - they have all be indoctrinated??

Like wildannie, most of my Sheps romanced Thane - and to have Traynor, Allers and Kaidan hitting on her 2 seconds after he's died is just tacky.  I would've hit Allers if I could have.  Stupid no "renegade interrupt"

At first I thought it was one of those things that occurs in a vacuum. You know, like if you didn't romance Tali or Garrus they end up hooking up, a real Fleet and Flotilla. So when I talked to Jacob and he's all like, "Bro, you see this chick? Yeah man, friggen hot stuff. We're all gonna have a baby n' sh**." I was genuienly happy for the guy.

But after finding THIS out, my FemShep's gonna wish she made the twerp get abducted by a collector bug swarm.... in fact I might just replay that level. 

That, and although it may only be coincidence that he's black and stereotypes will be stereotypes, still doesn't change how bad it looks. Just b/c a minority of FemSheps romanced Jacob doesn't mean you can just discard the romance entirely. Romances are almost as crucial to what makes your Shepard yours as whether you saved the council or collector base. Maybe even more so! So when Bioware just *snips a romance entirely w/o rhyme or reason, and no option for response, your Shep just can't feel the same anymore.

What a damn shame.

Oh man, I would love to shoot Allers. LOL Her hitting on Shepard is just plain tacky and painful. Not to mention doing it right after the LI scenes. 

Allers voice acting also left alot to be desired along with her uncanny vally face =/

More than once I've heard pissed off girls say "that's it! I'm done with men!" See, Bioware is just giving you more role playing options. Now you can play the scorned lesbian! Jacob pisses you off so much that you jump straight in the shower with Samantha.

Seriously, the allegations of racism are incredibly shoddy. It has nothing to do with the fact that's he's the black guy, he just is "the black guy". Who happened to cheat. You're seeing something that isn't there because you want to. Just because none of the other LI's didn't cheat; white, blue, or green, doesn't mean it's racist. I seem to recall Shep's ability to carry on multiple relationships his/herself with the crew at the same time. Guess payback stings a bit.

The REAL funny part is that when ME2 released, 99% of BSN was "I hate Jacob! He's awful and boring and why did you even include him in the game!??!"

Now after ME3 there's a large portion of BSN complaining "How could you do this to Jacob?! Why would you make him do something awful?!? I hate him now!! That's racist, Bioware!!"

Not once did it ever cross my mind that it was "race" based - people cheat.  It's just too bad that the scenes with Jacob were so few and far between, as was the dialogue that I doubt anyone feels any resolution.

Though personally, I would say "that's it! I'm done with humans!" and go make some blue babies.

Bioware must really have some of the coldest people writing their stories.

From ME2&3 to DA2, they must LOVE death, darkness, grief and disappointment. lol!
