I haven't seen if Bioware has responded to the tremendous outporing of upset fans over the games ending yet. Does anyone know if they have made a statement or posted any responses on the board?

The company? No. One of their employees has tweeted some unflattering opinions.

Not as a company, but one of their staff did.

Things aren't looking so good for any closure...at all.

One of the employees, possibly a low rank Dev has tweeted a couple of insults regarding people who don't like the end.

Beyond that, I don't think so.

Let's just hope those employees who are taking our disappointment as a personal affront don't make the decisions regarding possible new ending DLC.

I expect Monday there will be a press release. You have to remember this is the week end after their big game release. chances are they are not in the office, but at home. Monday we should see 1. a press release, 2. a mod crack down on the forums, or 3. both a press release and forum crack down.

I admit, I'd take it more seriously if not for the smiley face.

Source? If true I won't be purchasing Generals 2.

I am trying to wait this out. By Friday I believe we will have a response of some sort, and probably not what we are hoping for.

Sounds like a generic response to get them to stop asking questions.

"
There is a movement to change the ending of Mass Effect 3. I love it. I support it.

I want this for everything. I'm starting a letter writing campaign to have Gatbsy end with a steamy sex scene.

Max Payne should end with a surprise party and his wife and kid are there. Someone needs to write the petition. "

Based on the twitters of michael gamble and mac walters they said they are very satisfied with the endings and appear to be genuinely confused as to why people don't like them.

yeah.....

I don't blame Bioware if they decide to throw up a middle finger. Sorry, but for those with legitimate concerns yet speak with civility, you're being overshadowed by ignorant punks that hurl insults.

They haven't referenced the events of the last two games/EU, have they? It'd be one thing is the endings legitimately addressed anything from the last five years, but they address nothing and just raise more questions...

Hell with em. At this point, I'm thinking Fan-made Mods. Yeah, they won't ship em, but I refuse to accept this...

I wouldn't want to be the employee that is quoted by thousands of angry fans.

This is my assessment, don't expect an official response from bioware until at least the 15th, when they release in Japan.

Even then, I seriously doubt that we will get a response until the 19th, which is the following Monday, so that they can get feedback from all of their markets.

Please people, as upset as we are regarding the endings, please have a little patience.

I'm assuming they'll respond some time this week. One can only go so long sticking their fingers in their ears trying to block out the sound of thousands of angry fans.

Bioware doesn't care. If they cared, they wouldn't have ended the game in the way they did.

Here's their response so far.

"Ah yes, ending controversy, the alleged criticisms about the inconsistency, plot holes and lack of closure in the endings. We have dismissed that claim."
