Bioware doesn't care. If they cared, they wouldn't have ended the game in the way they did.

Pretty much this.  You have to be f***ing stupid to not see how bad those endings are.

Somehow or another, all of this was planned.

One of the employees, possibly a low rank Dev has tweeted a couple of insults regarding people who don't like the end.

Beyond that, I don't think so.

Source? If true I won't be purchasing Generals 2.

Also requesting a source for this.

There is a movement to change the ending of Mass Effect 3. I love it. I support it.

I want this for everything. I'm starting a letter writing campaign to have Gatbsy end with a steamy sex scene.

Max Payne should end with a surprise party and his wife and kid are there. Someone needs to write the petition. "

Before you lynch the poor man, I'd like to point out that he just  shared what someone else said.

I may or may not do a charge-back to get my money back if this is how they treat their fans. :P

I expect Monday there will be a press release. You have to remember this is the week end after their big game release. chances are they are not in the office, but at home. Monday we should see 1. a press release, 2. a mod crack down on the forums, or 3. both a press release and forum crack down.

It took them like 6 months to admit that Dragon Age 2 even had flaws, let alone admit some were fundamental errors in judgement and identifying target audience expectations.

There won't be a press release tomorrow.

Hell with em. At this point, I'm thinking Fan-made Mods. Yeah, they won't ship em, but I refuse to accept this...

.....Let's get this done then! I'll need three squads of computer hackers and some testers! We can make this happen! These endings aren't finished until I say they are!

Hey, I just got it from the other thread on the board announcing his reply. I don't even have a twitter.

Besides, I can imagine the entire dev team's frustration at this point. Given the amount of cut content, I doubt they wanted to shlep the ending.

There won't be a press release at all more than likely.

At some point someone in an interview might say "oh yeah, some of the fans were really upset about it."

They are under no obligation to do otherwise, I've got nothing against them for it.

I don't blame Bioware if they decide to throw up a middle finger. Sorry, but for those with legitimate concerns yet speak with civility, you're being overshadowed by ignorant punks that hurl insults.

I've seen a lot of people bashing people  who aren't happy with the game and think we have no right to complain or to be angry, but in case people have forgotten, we paid good money for something that was supposed to provide entertainment. We paid in good faith that we would get something of value. Yes, it's partially our own fault for falling for BioWare's crap, but it's also theirs for giving us this turd and claiming it's a chocolate torte.

Considering all of us shelled out sixty bucks for the game, and some shelled out a hundred and fifty, then the folks at BioWare need to man up and accept the harsh criticism. They don't fart sunshine and roses, no matter how many fanboys have told them it's true, so unless they are really nothing but a bunch of spoiled, arrogant turds, they need to stop the arrogant BS and show the fans that they are appreciative of their dedication and sorry that there are many who aren't pleased. When you sell a product that people buy based on your reputation, and you fail them, then it's on YOU (BioWare), not on the fans.

I haven't seen if Bioware has responded to the tremendous outporing of upset fans over the games ending yet. Does anyone know if they have made a statement or posted any responses on the board?

This is the same company that said, after Dragon Age 2, that anyone who didn't like it "just had bad preconceptions going in," and that it couldn't POSSIBLY be the case that DA2 was a rushed hackjob.

So I'm going to guess that IF they give a statement, it'll be similar to that.

The ending is what it is. They're not going to change it, because if they did change it to something people wanted, they'd have to massively change their ideas for future ME games (provided those aren't set in a pre-shepard era.) If they've come up with ideas for an ME game where the galaxy has no ME gates, they really aren't going to make a DLC where the gates survive.

Let it go, people. It's a book that ends badly. It happens. Sadly. <_<

Even if they acknowledge our concerns as legitimate and promise to do something about it(which is unlikely), we will not see an official statement for quite some time. It doesn't take a person with a degree in marketing to realize that the situation could turn very nasty if they allow a few devs to hastily respond. The smart thing for them to do is make it an issue during Monday's staff meeting and eventually come up with a unified response.

Did they ever say anything after DA 2? If not there is no reason for them to now.

I'm sad that Mr Heir would share those condescending tweets, but I can understand how he must feel; after so much effort poured into this game only to have so many people dissatisfied with it must be heart breaking. Even if, to be fair, I believe the devastating majority of us displeased with the ending are *only* displeased with the ending and nothing (or very little) else.
Still, I'll patiently await for an official response and hopefully a satisfactory conclusion. And remember guys, be excellent. We can't afford to go into typical BSN fanrage mode.

Sorry but your attitude sucks. The game is not a turd. The game is not crap. The ending is medicore at the worst, and a medicore ending to an otherwise epic game doesn't sit well with folks clearly. Many have said that this ending on any other game wouldn't be a problem.

ME3 is an amazing game, that just happens to have a head-scratching last five minutes. Five minutes does not turn a whole game into crap unless you are really that narrow minded.

16,000 out of est. 3 million is not a majority. I was disappointed and am scratching my head over the ending but I'm not pretending the majority is us.

Uhh, no, a bad ending will ruin anything. Be it a game, a book, or a movie. You can have a bad beginning or middle and it's fine so long as the ending is great. But if the ending is bad, it leaves a bad taste in peoples mouths.

16,000 people out of the amount of people who have already beat it. I am pretty certain that all those 3 million people you mention have beat the game already.
