It's a score that's listed on this website. If you select "My games" then "Mass Effect 3" you can see a bunch of stats. I can't remember if it appears anywhere in multiplayer mode.
Edit: ..

Ok so I went into a gold game and won and with my 70k, started unlocking recruit packs. It took a while, but after buying a bunch, I unlocked one that I had already had the appearance maxed out on. So ya. Recruit Packs are only good for the basics. Once you start getting almost exclusively human upgrade cards, move on to veteran packs. And once the same thing happens with veterans, go to spectre. This is the most optimal strategy for use of time, and it just makes sense as you advance throughout the multiplayer to have unlocks that are symmetrical with your gameplay and skill. This is why you always see high ranked players with almost all of their guns at ranks 1-5. It is a huge mistake to try and buy only spectre packs from the get go. It you advance through the levels of packs, you will siphon out the unlocks that don't belong in their packs. Although getting low level items in spectre packs will upgrade them up to 5 times, the rate is terrible (1 Spectre Pack, Up to 5 Upgrades, 12 Recruit Packs: Up to 12 Upgrades). So in the end, it is wise to advance through the packs. If that isn't enough, the M-8 Avenger Assault Rifle(Blue Level) at Rank X is approximately 1.4x stronger(RoF/damage) then the M-99 Saber(N7 Rank) Assault Rifle at Rank I with the addition of weighing 1/4 as much and having 2.5x the ammo capacity. So ya. Just buy the packs in the order that seems obvious. And if it wasn't before, it should be now.
