Curious about this too, am trying to add the dreamsever ring from an origins save of another char to my awakening save,  I've used this method in the past successfully, but never from two different characters, as far as I can tell everything looks like it should, something hidden i'm not seeing or something.

If you are copying and pasting from origins to awakening, you may have a file version issue which you can't solve with the toolset. Other than that, the message is saying there is a list which you have messed with somewhere, adding the wrong kind of struct to it.

That's what I just thought so I imported the origins char to awakening and then saved the game and tried to copy the item from that save to my save, still getting the same error though....I've looked over and compared everything in the toolset about the item I want copied in compared to all the other items I have and everything looks the same except for the few things that should be different....dunno what to do, wish someone just made a dreamsever custom item mod or something :P

Ah-ha, I found a clever little work around. I loaded up my game and bought back 2 crap rings from a vendor, silver and iron. Then I loaded up the toolset and over-wrote the values of the crap rings with the values of the dreamsever ring. Loaded up the game and got 2 dreamsevers in my inventory where the crap rings were, hopefully they're working like they should =)

Edit: Well, getting one is easy, gotta modify the second one somehow though or else the two items don't interact well...hmm.
