Whenever I try to export certain items from the Aurora Toolset, especially areas with a significant number of placeables (50+), the toolset just hangs. Does anyone else get this? If so, any ideas on how to get the damned thing to work?

BTW: I can't really lessen the number of placeables in the areas; they're not exactly mine, as I do work on an old module for a server I play on. Unfortunately, backing up some of the old files as .erfs is impossible since some of the areas have over 200 placeables (Damn placeable-happy builders...) and I can't export them.

It might come down to system ram, if you're running on an old system.
The 16x16 area (with 60 placeables on it, a dozen sounds, 30 triggers, and about the same in WPs) exported nearly instantly for me just now testing it. I can't see a few more (or even a hundred more) placeables making that big a difference.

I have the same issue with my module, but it isn't placeables that cause it for me. It's event scripts. It might be some circular includes or something, never have been motivated enough to figure it out precisely.

What I do is make a backup of the module, open that in the toolset, then go into nwn/modules/temp0 remove all the nss & ncs files, then export. If that works then you at least know where the problem is.

The erfs won't contain the scripts, so it's not really a solution if you plan on importing them into a module that doesn't share the same scripts tho...

I used to have a exporting problem with my old computer, it hanged regardless of what I was trying to export. I had an even older computer that I used to send my module to when I wanted to export something. I haven't had that problem on any other computer I have used the toolset with... Never figured out why it happened.

I'm fairly sure it's either placeables that do it, or triggers. Smaller or empty areas export just fine. My computer is also fairly recent (it can run DA2 on max settings just fine) but for some reason it just doesn't like it. I did some experimenting, and it seems I can export the files without error from my laptop, which is much older. Funny, that.
