Hello - I seem to be having issues romancing Liara in ME3. I am on PS3, so I could not play ME1. When I started ME2, I chose that I had no Romance from ME1 during the comic intro. I romanced Miranda in ME2. When I first ran into Miranda in ME3, I called it off, because having met Liara in the Shadow Broker DLC and the beginning of ME3, I figured I wanted her.

I did FINALLY get the convo on the Citadel where I asked Liara to be more than friends, and she said yes. She never has asked about Miranda, and to be honest...she barely talks to me at all. There has been no "consumation" or hardly any conversation between us. It's pretty awkward, compared to the ME2 experience.

I just completed the Sanctuary mission where (SPOILER) Miranda died. Everyone on the ship has commented that they knew Miranda and I were "....close". Liara still won't talk to me about much of anything.

Is this fairly normal? Does she not get very affectionate till closer the end of the game? I've just read other threads on here and elsewhere that make it out like it's an epic romance and so far, it's not really delivering in that department. I'm just trying to figure out if I've messed something up. I feel like, by now, it should at least be a semi-flirtatious relationship. At this point I might as well have just kept up the relationship with Miranda for all the interaction I'm getting.

Minor Spoiler

I wouldn't worry too much. I believe it is the priority mission after Sanctuary where you get to have some 'fun.'

Thanks, that is good to know.

It's pretty rough on the story if you end things with Miranda (not sure if it's possible for her to live if you broke it off - I didn't get the option to warn her, but I may have done things wrong), so it was starting to feel like it hadn't been worth it.
