I have a Mantis VIII in single player but I seemed to only see a max of V for most guns in my first playthrough. Is it just the mantis that can go higher or what?

On a new game + you can level your weapons all the way up to X
This is great for me, because I can't wait for my Argus and Valkyrie to weigh next to nothing.

This has made me excited for new game+, widow X. I'm planning on enjoying this game and stopping at the end. Thanks for the info. Wish I had the Valkyrie, hear good things.

All things consitered, it's probably outclassed completely by the Argus with a level V stabilizer.
