if they release any DLC that adds more endings/removes plot holes, I will not pay for it.

However...
If the DLC comes with a plethora of new endings, new content and cinematics, maybe an extra hour of things to do after the Reaper threat is over, then yes, I would consider spending money on it. But it would almost assuredly have to be DLC with worth-while content taking place -after- the main plot ends, otherwise I'm not interested.

I'm going to have to agree with what a lot of other people have said. I should not have to pay for a proper ending that ought to have been in the game from the beginning. Not only would it be wrong from a philosophical standpoint, but it would also encourage bad business practices. It would encourage other game developers to churn out products 80% complete, and then expect people to pay if they wanted to see the finales.

I tend to agree with this train of thought. I already paid cash money on the barrel for a good game with a good ending - and I got ripped off. The polls show the truth. I should not have to pay for a decent ending - they knew off of jump street that the planned ending they had was last minute desperation to just get out of the door and let the fire burn out on its own. Well, the fire is bigger than they thought. However, I am not paying for their mistake. They are - out of pocket. I cannot encourage them to produce sub-par and then bill me all over again to do it right.
A better deal might be somehting like a middle ground. Put in agreeable endings, like we have respectfully requested in many other threads, as well as some kind of DLC - a package deal of sorts. I'd gladly look forward to that, and there might even be replayablility as well.

So far I haven't bought a single DA2 dlc since I dislike it too much, chances are I'll be ready to resist this one as well.

1: They release a free DLC new ending - my trust in Bioware would be sufficiently restored that I'd give them another chance in future.
2: They release a paid for DLC new decent ending - my trust that Bioware listens to fans would be sufficient that I would still buy future games, albeit more carefully.
3: They release a paid for DLC new, also bad, ending - my trust that Bioware listens to fans would be shattered and I'd likely never buy another Bioware game unless it came extremely highly recomended after at least a month, and not at full price.
4: They release a paid for DLC which also comes with a free new good ending - I'm not sure how I'd feel about this. Honestly it'd depend on the value of the content provided in the DLC itself I think. Wouldn't be happy, but if the ending was now a sufficient conclusion I might fall somewhere between 2 and 3.
5: They leave the ending as is - I'm done with Bioware games, as this dissapointment was so huge, and it'd be apparent they don't care enough about fans to not just rush the ending where we've reached the point we don't really have any options left but to just suck it up.

DA2 came and they said they were "listening".
Deception came and they said they were "listening".
Now ME3 comes along and they say they are "listening".
Really... they must assume Im dumber than snot.
I might pay... if the DLC was well and truely epicly great. I mean PS:T-esqe great. Otherwise I dont see the point. I really do not see the point of supporting bioware after this either. Im tired of being spoonfed halftruths and outright lies. Im tired of being promised one thing and given another. Im tired of bugs and logic/lore inconsistencies that constantly yank me from suspension of disbelief.
So. Will I buy another Bioware title? Not likely. I do not want to support this kind of businesspractice.

Which is why, in order to pay for it, it must be continuation, not new endings, which would be so STUPID if they added just endings, which some of these people actually want.
When I hear "fix" the endings.. I cringe..
Continue from the end - SINCE SHEP IS STILL VERY OBVIOUSLY BREATHING.
Why do people insist on ignoring the fact BW quite obviously left Shepard alive..
If he was ever on the Citadel, and the "Starchild" segment 'wasn't' a vision, then he survived re-entry into Earths atmosphere after the Explosion/Destruction of the Citadel, and is lying in a pile of Citadel x London rubble... 100% impossible - he didn't have his breather suit on (as it got 'blown off' remember lol.) so he was frakked if this was the case.
The other option, and is the only possible explanation for that final scene - is that he never left earth, and he is 'Awakening' - and the only explanation that is in line with anything in the ME universe is Indoctrination.
Someone please, try and debunk this. Please.

If Bioware/EA wanted to release it for free as a gesture of goodwill to the community, perhaps they could get around Microsofts "every DLC must have a purchase price" crap by either a) calling it a patch / title update / whatever they're calling bug fixes these days or
