I'm following an alphabetical order for romances in the entire Mass Effect series. I just finished Ashely's and up next is Diana Allers. I'm just wondering if it's even worth doing or if having Jessica Chobot in the game was just a gimmick...an unecessary, unattractive, gimmick. If it's not worth romancing her, then I'll skip her and move onto Garrus.

Gimmick, Garrus is probably the best romance in the game anyways.

Her romance from what I've seen doesn't really seem like a romance. More like a fling. Others like Tali and Liara feel like you'd actually care about them. Just finding out about this Diana doesn't give me the same connection as I've made with other characters.

Short version: No, doesn't seem worth it. I could be wrong though.

I'd love additional conversations with Jessica Chobot's awesome acting in them.... or just go with Jack, Garrus or Ash

Does romancing her grant Paramour achievement?

Doubt it. I'm assuming romancing her is like romancing Kelly. It's just...there

How can you romance that monster? Just look at...her face. It's like. How does that even happen? She looks so out of place.

Frankly, I liked Diana. Wish there was more of this 'interviews' stuff. Based on the leaked script, I thought the interviews could have big influence on potential alliances, how you build your reputation, present the war and your choices and based on that other characters would respond accordingly, so was kinda disappointed it was just 2 or 3 conversations. Bit wasted potential.

Don't care for romance, my Sheps are gay, but I was looking forward to this whole reporter aspect.

In terms of War Assets, she and her interviews are worth around 100. And she does grant the paramour achievement. However, I would go with almost any other romance before her (exception is Jacob).

Really? Are you absolutely sure? That's rather surprising

Agreed. Jacob shouldn't even qualify as an option anymore after that dick move he made.

The interviews don't affect Aller's war assets. They update the krogan, geth and 103 alliance marine assets.

edit: wasn't a double post

Yes she counts. A friend did of mine did it (has a crush on Chobot IRL) and he got the achievement. Makes sense as she can be one of the people who comes out at the ending if you did romance her.

I couldn't bring ger on the Normandy, after meeting her at the Citadel.
dat voice, dat face.

The irony is, that I didn't get her, mostly because she has an ugly model, and Chobot seems like a person whose career is based on being pretty.

Wish there was a way to bring Kalisa on board instead of her. After that paragon interrupt, I almost feel a little guilty about all those times I punched her.

Allers... I just hate her and the voice actor is probably the worst out of any Bioware game I've played.

Yeah - I loved the concept - but it was terribly presented and totally under utilised.

Voice acting was off to...and that creepy look she did when she turned to the camera....*shudder*

Yup.

Also, that dress. I wouldn't be caught dead in that.
